Top 10 List: Most Likely to Find Baldness Cure in 5 Years

Hi everyone,

While we’re waiting for Intercytex I thought I’d stir up a little debate and outline the 10 top people most likely to offer a cure for baldness in the next 5 years.

  1. Intercytex (Paul Kemp et al.)
  2. Follica, Inc. (George Cotsarelis, Elaine Fuchs et al.)
  3. Aderans (Ken Washenik et al.)
  4. PhoenixBio (??)
  5. Shishedo (??)
  6. Acell, Inc (??)
  7. Hair Research Laboratory, University of British Columbia (Kevin McElwee)
  8. Zhejiang University, China (Lu Zhongfa)
  9. Big Pharma (e.g., Merck, Pfizer, etc)
  10. Gho Clinic (Coen Gho)

All the best,
BB

I’d like to add the eleventh choice that maybe you were unaware of:

  1. (Dr. Lawrence Cutsinger)

If your cult leader should go on the list, you might as well add Ken and his famous hair dots.

Ipod, do me a favor and just shut up. We get it, you are a shampooer. Weren’t you on Kramer’s list? Why are you posting here? Learn to listen to the rules for a change ok.

As far as this list I happen to agree with Kramer and feel Dr. Cutsinger will be the most likely person to find the baldness cure July 15th of this year when he shows his final regrowth photos.

Why dont you “shampoo-is-the-cause-of-baldness” folks remain in the portion of the forum alloted unto you? We are discussing scientific advancements in dermatology from the cellular level and you guys are talking hippie silliness. Im dissapointed hairsite hasn’t formally asked you trolls for getitbackus to vacate the forum, but David has always been lenient.

Excuse me Benji, I didn’t know segregation still existed in society. Since when was anyone “alloted” a certain area to stay in. Show me where David said this.

You Benji and Ipod are not discussing anything remotely scientific. You two only responded to cause trouble and now you are even hoping for David to ask us to vacate the forum. Kramer and I both responded to this man’s question and offered our own opinion on who we think will come up with a cure for baldness. He didn’t have Lawrence in the list so Kramer thought Lawrence should be there and I agreed with him. This was it and you and Ipod apparently have some type of problem with that.

Now quit making this into some argument like you people always love to do. Who in that list do you think will solve the baldness problem. You and Ipod never discussed a damn thing nor did you even answer the question. Act like a human being for a change instead of a disgruntled postal worker who didn’t get his way.

For the love of God Benji, could you just drop this act of yours. Quit following me around wherever I go. If I want to come here and answer a guy’s question I’ll damn well do it.

Hitler is right and I thank you for sticking up for me on this. I thought Lawrence should be on the list so I wrote him in at no. 11. Maybe Boston Baldy didn’t know about him but that’s not my fault. This was an opinion question and I gave him an opinion answer. Now I see you are telling others what to do, where to go and what to say. You sound like Bubbles the Clown or maybe you are his twin brother Double Bubbles. Please quit stalking me Benjiah.

I think Benji was referring to the ALL NATURAL forum. Again, I am working on the forum index page at the moment. All the different sections (ie: topicals, all natural, hair transplant etc) will be more clearly segregated once the changes are made. Please cut the bickering down for now. As soon as the forum changes have been completed, I will no longer have to lock up the threads.

Thank you.

“you are a shampooer.”

That’s shampooist. Can’t even keep your own names straight.

More like YOU can’t keep the names straight. I meant shampooer. Kramer was the guy who made up the shampooist term not me. Get it right next time. Are you always this mixed up Jtelethon?

I do give you credit for at least reminding everyone that you think Ipod is a shampooist though. Good call.

Now before David goes and locks this up could you at least tell me Jtelethon who do you think the guy or girl is that will find the cure to baldness? If Lawrence doesn’t my second guess would be Jessica.

I know what Benji was referring too David. I just don’t like Benji telling me where I can go and where I can’t. As far as bickering, nobody is bickering David. A couple guys here just don’t like the fact I had an opinion on who I thought would cure baldness. It’s over with now as far as I am concerned.

So when do you think this new forum index page will be up and running? I am not a computer guy so I have no idea what you are talking about and how long something like this would take.

you guys have a unique talent to destroy every thread you post into. You do more harm than SLS :stuck_out_tongue:

On the original question i have no idea and i dont care as long as it works…but i would take Gho out of the list. I think he played his part but i dont think he can offer any more.

Haha,

I can’t really disagree with you Kramer. Since the list is in order of people most likely to find a cure for baldness in the next 5 years, and Lawrence Cutsinger is #11, then this makes perfect sense. For all practical purposes I’d give the chances of #10 Coen Gho finding a cure in 5 years basically zero, with Larry Cutsinger a solid zero.

Sorry guys, the shampoo story doesn’t have any data to support it. Not one peer-reviewed journal article.

All the best,

Most of the guys / companies on your list have literaly 0% probability that they could offer viable commercial product within 5 years. Clinical tests on humans take 5 years on their own man. That limits your list to 3, maybe 4 candidates. And with these 3 the probability of a real awesome cure within 5 years is imho well below 30% and I may be optimistic here. So stop dreaming and wake up. I believe that there will be something better in 5 years, but it won’t be some magical cure and there will be millions of bald people walking earth as they do today.

Hey debris,

It’s a top ten list – from most likely to least likely – so just b/c I put some people on the list means I think they’ll come up with anything. Also, I’d consider a baldness cure to be a phase II/III trial showing definite hair growth in a large majority of patients. Under this condition there’d be a cure, but it’d just take a few more years to get through regulatory hurdles.

And I’m definitely not saying hair multiplication or related methods are “magrical”. The plan (at least for Intercytex) has always been that traditional hair transplants would be used for the hairline, with hair multiplication as filler. Sure, there may be direction problems. But at least you’d have something to comb!

My mistake Boston Baldy. I didn’t really see the Top 10. For some reason I thought it was just 10 different people or companies in no particular order. Now that I realize this, I would put Lawrence at no. 1 vs. no. 11. My bad.

I agree Debris regarding the clinical tests taking 5 years and most on the list are not even close to that. However, I would like to point out that Lawrence Cutsinger, who’s not on your list, has not been shampooing for well over 10 years now AND most of the other people “testing” this out are at the 1 to 3 year levels so far. Lawrence will prove this works with his July photos which I believe should come out around July 15th or so. The others testing out this theory such as myself should know as well in the next 2 to 3 years whether this works.

Im going to say none of them cause there wont be a cure for baldness in five years.

Way to back up your statement with scientific factual data and/or proof… Another hater, imagagine that…HM is close!!! :stuck_out_tongue:
