Why should hairsite remove him?give some strong reasons?
He is just giving us advice and helping people to get any information aboutfue transplant.You need to have the whole idea about the doctor before getting any treatment from any docotor.So he is just doing his duty for a specific doctor.
my point is only and simply that this is not objective information and should be put into a section for all sales and marketing angles. it just allows the removal of any confusion in this specific forum. he is trying to sell us plain and simple. and there is nothing wrong with that, just put it in a forum where anyone looking for that sort of stuff can go. this guy gets paid to do this. that means there is an angle. and that means the information needs to be read and absorbed differently.

I think half the posts in this forum are made by sales people and doctors, how about a forum for patients only and another forum for doctors and their sales consultants only?
Pats has been extremely helpful for me personally. During my research phase, when trying to decide upon which doctor to go with, Pats provided me with a bunch of FUE results that I requested. He also called me up and walked me through what a procedure means and what I needed to consider. He was not pushy towards his doctor in any way. He told me to take my time, do my research and do what is best for me.
After my procedure Pats has been a very big help to me. Whenever I have a question rather it be my post op instructions or just need advice in regards to taking care of my grafts, Pats has always been quick to respond to all my questions. He is someone I can turn to, even after the clinic has closed for the day! There have been times I have emailed Pats as late as 10 at night and I still got a response within the hour!!

I believe that the interaction between clinic representatives and the patients is very important. As a matter of fact, the mandate of the forum is to facilitate discussions not only among patients themselves, but also between patients and clinics.
The site’s policy is that every clinic representative must clearly indicate in their forum signature their affiliation with the clinic they work for. Pat has been doing that consistently in all his posts.
I will consider your suggestion but at this point, I do not believe that segregation of clinic representatives from the patients will create a better environment for discussion & debate.
Hmmmm, this is a tough one— As a patient, it is a great feeling to log on to a forum and know for a fact that you are getting 100% unbiased information or opinions from former patients/future patients.
As a patient advocate, I can tell you that there are many half-truths and lies that jump around and suddenly become gospel—some very unfairly, I might add.
Additionally, those of us who happen to expose these lies and expose marketing under the guise of patient advocacy are banned. (this happened to me recently on another site after almost 2000 posts)
I happen to like Pats—we don’t agree on some things, but it is common knowledge that he works for a clinic. Anyone getting information from him regarding his opinion should weigh that and move forward accordingly.
Burberry, Pats is a good guy who was helping people before he worked for Armani—you missed the original posters concerns.

I think it’s a far fetch what you are asking for dreamster. i do however understand where u r coming from. i haven’t mentioned this here and i havent corresponded with him in front of everyone but reality of the situation is i KNOW when i’m being sold regardless of me needs. i.e. bad sales rep. But pats actually told me there are quite a few top surgeons around and so and so can do this, so and so can do that, and alvi armani can do this. He left me to decide. if this were an obnoctious salesman who didn’t care a crap about a potential patients needs then i would be rallying side-by-side with burberry.
but pats helped me alot and i appreciate his help. i already had my mind on going to dr. alvi armani prior to ever meeting speaking with pats. he helped me in areas he wasn’t even required to.
i thanked him already privately but i’ll thank him again in public … Dude u helped me alot and i thank u !
he is an asset to the hairsite commmunity and so is any and all other sales advocates for other clinics. i think this is one of the whole purpose why over 90% of us come on here. atleast we know they know what they are talking about =)
oh and by the way, the fue patient’s results u posted, those were amazing and definetly helped me a lot… they’re the best i’ve seen yet.

I’m kind of surprised you would support somebody like swagger. The forum that he was banned from started taking a nose dive a couple of months after he joined. Its okay to disagree and have different opinions than other people, but when you start calling people scum bags and paid posters who disagree with you, then thats just wrong. I think we all share some guilt in the problems that forum is experiencing now. I should have ignored Swagger and not engaged him when I thought he crossed the line. Many others should have said its okay to disagree, but lets try and be as respectful to each other as we can. Bobman and nic nitro are two people that I have much respect for. They never ever got into the BS that went on in that forum. They never would have stroked Swagger like RTC or like you just have.

fully agreed. i was there when all that drama took place and 99.9 of it involved and started by - lostmyswagger. i’m not saying anything negative about anyone here because i really don’t want to engage in any nonsence. just saying it would be nice if we can keep this civilized rather than forming a coalition and boastin things like “look what me and my friends did somewhere else=)” pretty childish if u ask me. asking for credit for ganging on up on some people online and distrupting a perfectly normal forum. why boast about it? i have no idea.

I think Pats and the others definitely bring more good than bad to these forums. If I dont like a particular posters threads then Im free to move to the next post. Hairsite providing 500 different categories for all the different types of posters isnt going to make it a better forum. Its nice to click on one tab and get straight to where I want to be.
I feel Pats goes above and beyond what hes paid to do, and has always given me a quick response when Ive had a question. I think he definitely has a passion for his work, as he often answers me back within minutes. Without his photos, advice etc to help with my decision making process Id probably of spent another 12 months deciding to get a procedure or not, fue or strip, this doc or that. After comparing the hundreds of photos from the different clinics I went with the clinic I thought gave the best results.
How about an ignore button so that we can ignore posts from certain posters in the forum?
MMA–I am surprised by your response. This isn’t about swagger, nor is about you— you have your opinion and support for a particular clinic and he doesn’t. Both of you are entitled to it.
You CAN’T have it both ways–and while Swagger and I don’t see eye to eye, neither do you and I, nor do I with many others.
Again, if a clinic is going to make claims that are far removed from generally accepted norms held by most top clinics, then it is their responsibility to defend and prove themselves, not the patients who have no incentive, etc…
Maybe you don’t remember that H&W went through the same thing a few years back when they claimed 5,6,7K+ sessions were safe and doable on patients?
Remember, the shiitstorm of controversy that stirred?
They PROVED themselves to everyone and we moved on.
