The Armani difference

I had a a FUSS procedure done about two years ago at the Alvi Armani clinic, and like any concerned patient I did my due diligence in terms of research. In the end i became very comfortable with Dr. Armani and everything associated with his clinic. However, the purpose of this post is not to advertise for Dr. Armani per say but more to highlight the fact that I did indeed make the right decision in not only having the procedure done in the first place but having it done right. without going into too much detail, last night my current girlfriend (who has no idea that i even had it done) could not stop complimenting me on how thick my hair is. She was running her fingers through my hair and saying things like “if you ever have kids, they would be so lucky to have your hair”, and “some WOMEN would kill for hair like yours” etc. It just made me think, Where would I be today if I had not had the procedure done when i did. It was an absolute life changer, and every day i look in the mirror i’m reminded of that. Moral of the story…if your thinking about having it done, do your research but, ultimately HAVE IT DONE!!!

Armani doesn’t do strip anymore. How can you advise patients to do a procedure (FUE) you haven’t tried? I can see if Armani still did strip, you could relate your experience, that would be different, but he doesn’t do strip.

Also curious why you are making your first post now when your procedure was 2 years ago?

I cannot understand why you waited two years either haha  But regardless, I just looked at your blog and hair does look quite good.

Your hair looks thick and nice and your donor area looks very good like nothing been done.

Hey Reddog, Thanks for sharing your story. I had an HT 2.5 years ago and it was the best decision I could have made regarding my hair.I have had some really nice comments from people that don’t know I have had an HT. I think stories like this give people some hope.

If you had any decency or courage you would dump her for being so shallow and not wanting the bald man that you are under that main. Do this to make a stand for the rest of us who have not yet gone to the knife. This is your chance to make a difference, to be a champion of the cause, to turn yourself from the shadow of a man that you are into a hero to be admired by all on the board. You may then be alone and sad but at least you can be proud of standing up for the truth.

Don’t be silly man, that would be ridiculous lol She just complimented him on his hair because she thinks is looks good. If you were dating a great blonde girl and told her her natural blonde hair was beautiful would it not be weird if she dumped you because she was secretly brunette but wanted to stand up for the truth?! haha

I would have found out by then if she was a secret brunette;-)

Joking aside…good to see longer term results. Looks great!

Great results Reddog! You are so correct about doing an adequate amount of research before going under the knife. Making the decision to have a hair transplant is a life altering event and you want to be sure you are having it done by one of the leaders in the industry with proven results. I have seen or read about so many botched procedures and horrible results. If the appropriate research is done on the front end it will save you from spending time/money on the back end to acheive stellar results. Not to mention having to live with the bad results which to me is the worst part.

I had a procedure with Dr. Armani a few years back and couldnt be happier with my results but I did the appropriate research up front. If you are considering a procedure, I say most definitely do it after the proper research has been done.

research even more and most of us stay away from transplants alltogether…at least until they are 30-35

People should see patients in person, and not patients who had minimal hairloss to begin with but patients with advanced hairloss because thats where most of us will progress to…

There have been times on here that specific sentences I’ve said about Armani have “disappeared” from a post of mine that otherwise remained up.

Shop for HTs with caution.

Nice post Reddog. My really make you chuckle when your girl friend says things like that and has no idea of how your hair really used to be.
All because as you say after doing your research you had it done.

Reddog, Does your Girlfriend have an idea that you had a transplant?

Hey Reddog,

Congrats on the great procedure. You know it’s good when people can’t tell you’ve had a procedure. Does anyone know you’ve had a transplant when they give you those compliments?

Gabriel

Wow…yeah you do have great results, no denying that! I also agree with your comments regarding the Armani clinic. I had a couple of surgeries at another clinic before Armani and was nowhere near as happy with those previous clinics or results. Results aside, which do in my mind speak for themselves…the care and attention that I received at the Armani clinic were outstanding.
