Sunil (5315 fuht + 110 beard grafts)/ 1 session/ 8 month (Dr. A\'s Clinic)

Dear readers,

Sunil’s case has been discussed before.
He visited us at 8.5 months after his HT

He had 5315 FUHT grafts and 110 beard hair grafts in a single day session in August 2007.

This video shows him running his fingers through his hair in different directions.

Sunil’s 5 month update can be veiwed at

Sunil’s procedure pictures can be seen at

Let me know if you have any questions.

That is a serious “wow” result! It looks like he will be able to manage future loss with the odd FUSE / FUE session. I like every aspect of this result. Of cause he has great hair characteristics and the session was large (all the same a single session!!) but a superb result.

Also, I enjoyed going through the featured cases in the following link. It looks like Minu is doing well!

Thank you Marco.
Minu has recently undergone another FUSE procedure. Her repair procedure is almost complete. She is very happy.

Wet hair pictures taken after 8.5 months

Outstanding!

Where did you put the 110 beard hair?

Nice result. He had no or minimal loss in the crown, correct?

Great donor density and desirable hair characteristics as well. The video and the pictures do a good job of documenting the progress. The patient must be thrilled!

Why bother with 110 beard hair? He has enough from the strip, having 110 beard hair or not is not going to make any difference. What’s the point in getting 110 beard hair?

Keep the worst case scenario in mind.
The patient may lose a lot more hair.

He may need to augment the scalp donor reserves with beard hair grafts.
That is the time he may have questions about the facial donor area healing, the texture and growth of the beard hair on the scalp etc.

Since he is undergoing surgery as it is, a complimentary beard hair graft session is offered.
We are confident of our technique. We want the patient to see the outcome firsthand.

When, and if, he requires more sessions of HT, he can decide based on his own results.

Thanks.
Sunil has minimal hairloss in crown - top part too, where no grafts were placed.
Hairloss in that part is progressing very slowly. He has started Finasteride and Minoxidil 10 days back. In case, he experiences future hairloss inspite of medications, he intends to use a combination of scalp and beard FUSE grafts as transplant source.

Its amazing. My hairloss is similar to this guy’s. This result makes me

Dr A has to be the most under appreciated doctor in the forum, consistently good fue, strip and repair results, and now you throw in free grafts too

Yes he seems to have posted a lot of results with good variety, more so than any other doctors. His prices are good too, he would be my choice if not for the distance.

Isnt this Dr Ruby’s case. I read V saying so somewhere.

Not to take any credit away from Dr A. In fact, more credit to him that he not only is very capable in his own right, he also has trained fellow doctors.

Atleast one of whom, Dr Ruby, I think can hold her own against H&W, Armani etc. Sunil’s transformation is just remarkable.

Dr. Ruby, I will be on the lookout for more such results from you. Keep up the good work.

Dear Bryan2,
Yes, this is indeed Dr. Ruby’s case.

I feel proud to say that she is very talented and gifted in the art of hair restoration. It has been a pleasure to have a trainee resident like her.

Reminds me of a conversation I was having with today’s patient. He was undergoing his 2nd HT with us (strip + bht), and he said that “you really good HT doctors must think of the patient as a masterpiece of art and take pride in the beauty you create”.

I said, its truly satisfying to see the results of ones work.

But its even better to see marvellous work from someone whom you taught. Yesterday, I entered the procedure room of Dr. Sangay and a first glance at the patient made me wonder where hair would be transplanted. They were taking pictures before marking the area to be transplanted.

Then they told me that the patient had already undergone a HT an year ago by Dr. Sangay and had come for a touch up session to fill in further recession.

That, at a casual glance, I could not suspect an HT, under bright flourescent lights, made me really proud and happy.

Regards,
Dr. A

Dr. Arvind
