I might be wrong, but I don’t think so. Let’s just all hope that I’m right.
That aside, the stuff is already avaiable in the marketplace and check out Willy’s recent posts because it looks like some of the HT doctors are already planning on trying this stuff on donor areas after harvestation. So in other words, some HT doctors will be testing this stuff in months, instead of years.
And here is a tip my young friend, if they test it, and if it works, then you should consider fastly getting a HT using ACELL on the donor area to replenish it instead of having the donor area sutured closed You see, after a few years of doctors using ACELL without long term studies being done the FDA could clamp down and demaand long terms studies for this exact and specific use. I saw that happen with a treatment for wrinkles called Isolagen. It was on the market for years and then all of a sudden the FDA stops everything and is making them do long term clinical trials. So if HT docs use ACELL and it restores donor area after harvestation then get a HT fastly and after the Acell restores you donor area you would be able to get more from your donor area if needed, even if the FDA puts a stop to it and makes them do decades long studies. Remember, the Acell is already available and some HT docs are planning to start playing with it in just a few months. We have to keep our eyes on the ball with this situation because it might be avail for HT for just a few years or permanently.
