Sideburns, Moustache and Eyebrows Transplant – HDC Hair Clinic (Cyprus)

For more than 20 years, HDC Hair Clinic has been posting hair transplant results, many of which can be found here in this forum, on our website, and on our Instagram page (hdchair).

This time, we would like to present something different - a case that highlights that an experienced medical team can go beyond traditional scalp procedures and deliver value in facial hair restoration, where precision and design are even more demanding.

Case Overview

We present a patient whose appearance was significantly affected by the lack of facial hair, including:

  • Sideburns

  • Eyebrows

  • Moustache

  • (beard area planned for a future procedure)

The procedure was performed by Dr. Christina.

Surgical Details

  • Total grafts: 3110

  • Areas treated:

    • Left and right sideburns

    • Both eyebrows

    • Moustache

This case demonstrates clearly that facial hair transplantation often requires a high number of grafts, especially when multiple areas are involved.
Fortunately, this patient does not suffer from scalp hair loss and has a strong donor area, allowing for further work to be done.

Approach & Technique

Facial hair transplantation is not simply about placing grafts. It requires:

  • Careful angle and direction control

  • Customized design based on facial symmetry

  • Strategic density planning for a natural appearance

Every graft is placed with attention to how facial hair naturally grows, particularly important in eyebrows and sideburns, where incorrect angulation can immediately reveal poor work.
