Shapiro Medical FUE Hairline--- 28 year old 1397 grafts 2148

FUE - 1397 grafts 2148 hairs - Dr. Paul Shapiro

I am pleased to present a 2 Day FUE session with Dr. Paul Shapiro.

This patient is a local patient (age 28) who wanted his hairline restored via FUE procedure. It’s a two day session totaling 1397 grafts. The goal of 1200-1400 grafts was achieved successfully. The procedure took place Mar 3rd and 4th.

1st day - 820total…361- 1 hairs, 458- 2 hairs and 1- 3 hairs

2nd day- 577total…286-1 hairs, 291- 2 hairs

Obviously, we believe this patient addressed his thinning hairline/temple regions in a subtle, safe manner—looking both at today’s needs and planning for tomorrow.

As I reiterated before, we want to keep sessions @ 1000 grafts or less per day–we feel the transection rate is minimal and the yield will be up to our world class standards.

Because this is a local patient, we are confident we can get clear update photos from him every 2-3 months.

Now THAT is some nice, clean looking work. I love the donor area pics of the extraction sites, they look awesome!

Here’s hoping for some great yield to come!

Im keeping my eye on Shapiro, he’s looking very promising and we really need a top shelf FUE doc here in America…

Thanks B Spot and please post more of these cases whenever possible…

Great depiction of some excellent work! Look forward to the updated.

He’s not even 1 week post op and you are cheering for the work already?

I said its nice looking work,(ie:surgically, placement?). And then I said the following:

Here’s hoping for some great yield to come!

Do I need to to elaborate on that or do you understand what that means?

Here are some 6 & 7 day post-op pics of the patient. Check out the healing in the recipient area and the donor looks great as well.

smaller sessions equal minimal transection rate, just curious what’s the theory behind that?

I don’t know if it’s because this was a small procedure, but nonetheless fue is fue and the donor area here looks untouched and no visible scaring. Excellent quality pictures too. Would like to see the progress this patient makes gradually.

Thats some excellent work bspot.
How seriously does your clinic think yield would be compromised by larger fue sessions?
I know some clinics are performing 2000+fue per day and claiming excellent yield.
It would be good to hear the opinion of such a respected clinic as smg.

Test–I have responded twice to this thread and my posts have not shown up–just checking for issues

Yeah I understand, I understand that what you said is garbage. Who cares if it is nice looking or not when it is only a few days after surgery? It there is no growth it is meaningless.
