I’m looking for some feedback for myself and others on Rogaine Foam. If you’ve been using it please be kind enough to inform us by answering the following few questions:
1) How long have you been using it?
What areas of the scalp do you use it on?
What progress and sheddings have you encountered?
What other treatments are you on and for how long?
How long do you wait before washing/showering afterwards?
Do you find the application of the foam easy? Compared to liquid?
I like the foam much better then the liquid. The smell is much better, it is not greasy like the liquid and it dries 10 times faster.
How long have you been using it? I used it for a full year, but did not see any regrowth.
What areas of the scalp do you use it on? My crown only.
What progress and sheddings have you encountered? I saw very little shedding and no regrowth.
What other treatments are you on and for how long? Proscar
How long do you wait before washing/showering afterwards? I would show before, dry my hair then apply the rogaine foam to my crown. It actually will help you style your hair. One nice thing aboiut the rogaine foam, my hair would feel thicker after I would use the foam, let it dry and then style.
Do you find the application of the foam easy? Compared to liquid? Much much easier, there is no comparison.
If you are a believer in Rogaine, that it’s maintaining your hair and even regrowing some, then try the foam, you’ll like it.

i take a shower, towel dry my hair and then apply the sh&t immediately. my view is applying it on a moist scalp helps it penetrate better. i hate applying it on a dry scalp.

much easier. the liquid was a nusiance and caused flakes and was uncomfortable to use. the stuff would roll off my head an into my eyebrows and eyes. i quit using it because it was such an annoyance.

no shedding, my main problem with other minox products is the scalp itch, the foam took care of the itch, no itch and i get to keep my hair,

I’m new to the foam version. With liquid minox you must wait atleast 2 hours before showering. I read on a few sites that because foam dries so fast, you can shower 45 min later. Which would be more ideal for me.

Foam or not, it’s no difference, you use it like you use regular rogain, , once the foam hits your scalp, it melts on your scalp and becomes like water. it doesn’t dry any faster than regular rogain
