Reinplanted grafts

I wonder if grafts that has been reinplanted due to misangulation in a repair session are growing slower then the ones that have only been transplanted once.

I have about 40 grafts that have been moved twice and this hairs are not growing in the same speed as the others after almost two years.

Maybe they cant be reinplanted twice

Any thoughts about that

If there is no growth after 2 years, they will probably never grow.

I am not aware of any studies that confirm one way or another. Theoretically, and assuming that everything is done correctly throughout, that should not be a problem. It should be like transplanting virgin donor.

there could be a lot of scarring around those grafts.

it’s damaged goods, chances are that they may not survive if you keep yanking them out and replanting them
