Red Maca Root (debris, you\'ve tried it?)

I read on another forum that Red Maca (or Red Maca Root, I think) is a good alternative to Fin or Dut. They mentioned that a poster named ‘debris’ had posted about it thickening his hair. I assumed that ‘debris’ was the same as our very own ‘debris.’ So, debris, are you still on it? How good was/is it?

Hey, I’ve been using Maca for half a year (though, mine is just called Maca Root, not Red Maca, I don’t know if it’s a difference), which I buy from a very reputable vitamin company, NOW. I take 500 mg/day. The thing is though, I take it along with Fin, so I don’t know how it would stand on its own. But with Fin at least, it is working fine. Also, it makes you feel energetic, but I also eat pretty well and exercise, so I don’t know if the maca is to credit.

Finally, just so you are aware, I caught my hairloss very early, and thus everything I do it more to maintain the hair I have then to regrow lost hair. So since I have been taking Fin, with Maca and ginsing, my hair has sustained itself. I don’t know if it would grow back lost hair.

Hmm interesting. I’m a total ignorant. Up until this day I didnt know there is “Red” Maca.

What I was asking for was always Maca Root (is it a root of red maca or is it something else??). And it did thicken my hair greatly.

Are you still on it? If no, any reason for going off?

well as we all age, our body hair matures as well. During the years im fighting mpb, my body hair is changing as well.

Generaly though, I got very little body hair on top half of my body.

I got few hair on the middle of my chest (rly just a little).

Now, I think that my body hair has not increased because of maca. In fact im quite certain about this. I saw a bit of lenghtening of my existing body hair, after I started muscle building and taking ZMA (dont take it if you dont take fin or dut as well, if you did, im not rly sure if it would not harm your existing hair, it increases testosterone levels, do your research).

And because I’m 30 now. I’d say I got like 10% extra body hair when compared to what I hade when I was 20. The extra hair imho is just normal sign of aging.

I got the same beard hair I always had. There is nothing new going on up there since i reached puberty and developed full beard.

Hope this helps.

One thing that I noticed when taking maca root is that body hair grows thicker. It might just be me being crazy though. One thing that I was warned about maca root is that it may increase heart rate depending on the amount one takes a day. Also trouble falling asleep. I’ve yet to experience anything like this.
