Propecia higher dosage?

Hello Everyone,

I have been on propecia for 6 yrs now with awesome results till this year…my crown is thinning out since sept 07 but i think the propecia is wearing off…should i up my dosage…i am taking the regular prescribed amount of milligrams…what should i do? Will increasing it cause more sides? will it make a difference to my hair loss? any regrowth??

In my case, upping the dosage did all of this. Decent regrowth but severe sides… And once you’ve a finger in the pie,… So, try the naturals first. Give it 6 months.

yeah thats what i thought…im afraid of the sides…but the regrowth…was it enough to cover up the see through areas that arent bald…like the thinning areas…?? can the naturals thicken up the thinning areas??

Does our body overtime built up a tolerance for Propecia? I also took it with great results for 4 years, and then all of a sudden, it stopped working as well. What happened?

Yes, naturals can definitely thicken up thinning areas. Especially if the thinning process is recent.

What naturals would u recommend i use with propecia?? I was thinking saw pawlmetto or nettles…

I just starting taking saw palmetto on sunday…so far so good, and actualy my shedding has slowed down…that was pretty quick…but it might be to early to tell…i had great results with propecia…so maybe i can get alteast some lil regrowth with this stuff, or atleast stop the shedding from 30 hairs a day to like 5 or 10…like the good first 4 years in propecia…

try nettles root, pygeum or beta sitosterol and get off the SP, some people might react to SP
there are plenty of natural dht blockers out there, right now im just on beta sis and it seems to be working well

I am afraid now to try any other natural…id rather just up my propecia dosage and see what happens with that…i know that works for me…i just hope it can regrow what i lost in the past year…can it do this?? any one have any experience with it??

i cant comment on prop…i have never tried it

Hair growth may be seen up to 2 years after starting propecia. After that there may not be any active hair growth due to it.
