Possible help with redness

#1

I saw a few posts recently on redness. A top notch surgeon (non hair related) recommended this to me for swelling/redness/bruising.

  • Low sodium diet 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after surgery.

  • Pineapple (preferably fresh) everyday 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after surgery as well. (I believe for the anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties.)

  • Arnica supplements starting just prior and running through the following couple weeks after surgery.

I had a complete septum rebuild and honestly looked as if I went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Seriously… eyes black and blue and whole mid-face battered and swollen. A little over a week and a half later I had no problems leaving the house. I’ve had a few other major surgeries before meeting this surgeon and consider myself a slow healer and also have very light skin that bruises and reddens easily. I was blown away by how quickly I healed after such major surgery.

I cant guarantee it would work for a HT, but it worked wonders in helping me heal quickly after a very intense and invasive surgery.
