PERSONAL EXPERIMENT with Wnt3a and Keratinocytes

glad to hear that and goodl luck for the future

my question is: have you done a control experiment (an area dermabrade only and an area the mixture only)?

Cal,

Hopefully I can answer some of those questions as things progress. I’m not taking anything right now; I was on finasteride a few years back for a very short period of time but stopped due to the sides. It may be a good idea to add an anti-androgen / topical dht blocker if there are any results… but I probably won’t just to see if any new follicles are dht resistant…

»
» – Do they get slaughtered by the same old MPB androgen attack within a

Virgo,

Honestly, after reading some of your other posts, it seems that the best option for you would be a FUE transplant of maybe a couple hundred hairs to your eyebrows. I’ve seen some great results from others. I would never recommend a transplant, but I think your case is different as it is for the eyebrows… BUT make sure you go to a good well known doctor who will give you references of individuals whom you can contact.

Doing what I’m doing probably would not be a good idea for you. If you want, you may want to try latanoprost or bimatoprost…

» question 1
» so does this just rejuvenate dormant hair follicles or does it create
» entirely new ones?
» question 2
» the reason i ask… well does u think it would work on other areas of the
» body…
»
» i guess theirs only one way to find out first wait for wewillwin to
» conclude his experiment then if he is successful try it myself
»
» hope it works man!

Nixi,

It’s funny you say that. As my friend was injecting me, he asked me exactly the same question. We decided that we would not inject on / around a very small area to the anterior top left of my scalp. A little bigger than a quarter size. Looks like a “D”. My friend is in med school so he’s really into this, although he has a full head of hair.

interesting

one more question: you said you have done a lot of research. I remember reading something about that you can “activate” the stem cells in your skin via derambrading only once and then you have to wait quite a long time to be able to do it again. If that was true, repeated applications of this method wouldn’t make sense unless you wait maybe a year or so.

have you read the same? if yes, can you direct me to this paper?

i havent herd anything about that man. i think i can do it over and over with out worry about that. i have done quite a bit of reading up on this but im not expert and could be wrong just giving ya my feedback.

i would also like to address wewillwin. what i wanted to say was yes i don’t think your way of doing it would work for me but i think follica/cancer method might. if that were true i think i would get much more natural results than a eyebrow transplant for some reason those things look fake to me so im still going to try to do that before anything else. actually to me eyebrow transplants look so fake there not even worth it but hey i could be wrong i have never seen one in person…

Anything new WeWillWin???

Don’t hesitate to post pictures control/before/after with the same spot light conditions…that’d be cool and would meant something serious!

cheers

Hello! Why you dont use a derma roller?
I am planning to try Derma Roller+Betamethasone (immunosuppressive) + Tretinoin on my temples when my current regimen stop working!

nixi or anyone able to give me a intelligent answer,

what do u think is a better approach say if u were trying to regrow eyebrows i now find my self contemplating between two approaches

  1. this one found here done by a user on this board named coffee which had gotten PROVEN results but i don’t know if it would work on eyebrows

http://www.hairsite.com/hair-loss/forum_entry-id-39923.html

  1. or suppress the immune system with something like Cyclosporin for 2 weeks. then dermabrasion…wait, apply gefitinib (which follica… a company that might very well be dead said specifically it would work on other areas of the body than just the head)

or try mixing the two ideas??

all i know is when i do this i want it to be right if anyone can tell me what will have a more successful chance of working let me know!!!

Wooooo!! well done W3 on your " Good new " cant wait to see those pictures pal!

And thanks again for taking that brave and courageous leap into the unknown, you give souls like me and others hope and joy for what the future may bring sooner rather than later. Even if your attempt was to be unsuccessful it still inspires other people to have hope and to challenge this dreadful and sometimes life holting disorder we call MPB.

And for this i commend you for your impressive dedication to help fight this problem we MPB sufferers have longed so much for - a natural hairline that gives our self-confidence and really our life back.

So thanks again pal for taking the time and patience to share this with us, and really i wish you all the best and a safe ride through your journey.

cheers,
bez
