It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Alex Demetriades after being diagnosed with leukemia some time ago.
Alex passed away on October 12th, 2016.
Alex (aka Alex1 in our community) was a dedicated hair transplant patient coordinator for HDC.
It is a great loss for the HDC Family and the hair loss community in general as Alex was truly committed to this cause and had genuinely offered his help and guidance to countless individuals in our forum for almost a decade.
We grieve not only at the passing of a tremendous individual & colleague but also for the loss his family suffers as Alex left behind a family with two children of 14 and 9 years old.
In an effort to further Alex’s legacy in our community and as per Alex’s wish, HDC’s technician and Italian patient coordinator, Giuseppe will step in to fill Alex’s former role of providing help and guidance to anyone considering hair restoration.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude for Alex’s contribution in the community over the years. Our prayers and thoughts are with Alex’s family and his loved ones during this very difficult time. May Alex rest in peace.
