My opinion, is a small scale commercialization in 2009… if all is going well, in the first half…

Well, I am a bit of an optimist!
However, their website does say that they anticipate the trial to finish in 08.
“The full data set on all subjects at 24 weeks will be available in during 2008. This detailed analysis will form the basis of further Phase II or Phase III trials as appropriate.
At the end of the trial, photographic data will be analysed from a much larger area of treated scalp on all subject at 12 months.”
So if the above is true, then

It should finish this year. They are analyzing 24 week (6 month) data to set plans for more phase-II or phase-III trials.

We would see PICTURES!

If phase-II works out well, then they probably would start phase-III this year and some lucky people may get a chance to have decent fur on their heads.

Everything in small doses. Only positive news is coming out, and it won’t be that a release will be tomorrow, but before years end, a small portion will have access to this therapy as previously stated. Doubters will doubt because they don’t want to be “that fool” again. Understood. Believers will believe because you can’t stop progress and they know this, even if naive in some aspects, they’ll be right.
Debate the small details, but the bigger picture is clear.

I’m willing to bet that the gist of the March update will be simply:
- Phase II going well, patients showed x% regrowth
- Next Phase II cohort to start trials in x
- Stay tuned for the next update, thank you very much for listening
I really hope that I am wrong, but if I were a betting man I’d bet on the above.

Actually, the cure for baldness will arrive in exactly 8 years, 52 days...Oh wait!, I'm not a fortune teller, and neither are you, so stop trying to guess what will happen and just wait and see. :-P
