Betting $1 billion on a new drug and then waiting ten years to see if you were successful with a 5% success rate is a huge deterrent to private industry research. Nobody has 1 billion to spare today.
Now the govt is wondering why fewer and fewer drugs are being developed…and draws the wrong conclusion.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Federal officials concerned about the slowing pace of new drugs coming out of the pharmaceutical industry have decided to start a billion-dollar government drug development center to help create medicines.
The New York Times reported on its website Saturday about the new effort that comes as many large drug makers, unable to find enough new drugs, are trimming back research.
Because more and more is researched with stem cells and today the only few really dangerous deceases are HIV and Cancer ( yeah i know there is tubercolosis and stuff but right now iam focussing on industrial country stuff)

What is the number one Cause of Death? Cancer, Cancer or well Cancer

Oh and before i forget about it. There are no new Drugs or whatsoever because there are MORE then Enough Drugs already like Aspirin and its generic, viagra and its generics. There are more then XX different types of brandy and generics for only one product and you want more?
