The essence of what they are saying is that they are not responsible for anything the newsletters or Tobin Smith said, that everything was premature, and that the possible uncertainties of their business “may cause investors to lose their entire investment in the Company”

I agree that this sounds pretty bad. Replicel may be kaput.

But I think there is the possibility that they’re just trying to cushion the blow of mediocre results, not totally worthless results. Some of the hype surrounding this release lately gives the impression that they’re gonna publish perfect NW#7-#1 pics and the stock is gonna shoot up uncontrollably. I think the hype was getting unrealistic.

I think the average no-MPB NW#2 investor would not be very impressed by the kind of results that we would be ecstatic about. Thickening the existing hairs by 10% or 20% with one round of injections probably does not look very impressive when you don’t really know the backstory of MPB and HM.

Or maybe Replicel is just failing and we’re back to ARI & Follica & Histogen. No telling yet.

If it does turn out to be as bad as we think its gonna be, Tobin Smith needs to be taken down. What little reputation he has needs to be destroyed.

Yep, selling stock BEFORE releasing results is bad, unless they are being sold to insiders. However that would also make it insider trading - illegal. So I don’t think those shares were sold to insiders.

If you knew the results would be good, and thus share prices would rise, why on earth would you sell?

This is the reason companies which want any respectability need to stay away from pump & dump fly-by-night penny stock pumpers.

The only thing these people end up doing is causing a public relations disaster for the company.

I only hope Replicel’s results puts the company back on track and they give these pumpers the boot.
