I am fairly disappointed with the way people over at hair loss help are dealing with the issue of documenting the progress of their OC000459 experiments.
It is for this reason that I suggest we set up a “crowd funded” money pool where anyone interested can contribute a small donation. The amount and donors of the account should be transparent to everyone.
The money will then be used to place an order of OC000459 and perhaps buy a USB macro camera for a person willing to test OC000459 on himself.
To keep things fair, it would be conceivable that the money is held on trust by a user who then pays out the amount as documentation is provided.
We would possibly set up a separate blog for this, with weekly or two weekly updates including pictures.
I feel that in doing so, it would be a win-win solution for the trialist and the interested audience.
Someone posted a website where you could crowd fund research projects much like “kickstarter”. Perhaps we could use that platform for our experiment, however I do not know what “safety” guidelines that site follows.
Depending on the amount that we manage to gather we could even try to hire a lab to investigate authenticity of the substance. If each of us pooled in a few bucks we could have this project flying sooner than you think.
Also, in order to increase the incentive for people to donate, we could set up a closed members only forum for donors of > 10USD only. These members would get full access to all the material as it arrives. The image material would be placed under copyright so that we could demand for images to be removed from hair loss forums if someone were to disclose them there.
The details would of course still need to be worked out… but i hope you get the general idea of what I am suggesting
@roger_that: you said you were considering buying OC000459 perhaps you would be interested in my suggestion? I think, as a long term member of this forum you would be an ideal candidate. Of course on the other side I understand that making pictures and providing documentation every other week is quite a burden and I would understand if you prefer to decline.
Hairman, this is a great idea and I was going to suggest this myself. I will email you a message about this… right now I am preparing for Hurricane Sandy. I live in coastal Maryland (not Jamaica as my profile says, that was 2 years ago. )
Those slovenly losers at HLH aren’t ever going to take this seriously enough to bother taking photo evidence to prove this isn’t another deceptively shilled waste of money like TB4, which also dwindled away to nothing. We NEED to know this works.

I can’t really afford to buy it but I would definitely sample it if it were supplied to me and monitor growth accordingly.
