Need advice for HT doc!

» Thank you all so much for your comments and suggestions. I am looking into
» those supplements. I just loove taking a handful of pills every day, but
» I’ll do it if it works!
» Another question: Are the results from an FUE as good as a strip
» procedure? I can’t quite tell if it is or not. I do understand that there
» is less of, or no scar with FUE, and that is important. But are the
» transplant results as good as with a strip? I know that sometimes a
» “pioneering technique” can sometimes get more hype, but still not be as
» good. If anyone can enlighten me on this, that would be a big help.
» Thanks again, and Happy New Year!

All I can say is that if you ask 10 people who had both fue and strip done before what they prefer, I am willing to bet 10 out of 10 would say fue.

» » In my opinion, having looked at HT results over many years, I think that
» » the best Strip clinics get the best yield.
» »
» » I wish it were not so but that is my observation, however, I should add
» » that there is ZERO consensus on this and many other experienced
» observers
» » and HT experts will disagree with me, saying that in their view that
» FUE
» » has equal or even greater yield than Strip.
» »
» » As ever with the HT jungle, you will have to make your own decision on
» the
» » matter and that will require a lot of research.

»
» One thing I would recommend in your quest to find a doctor is to ask to
» see patients in person if possible. This is big, as you can see pictures
» on-line, but to actually see the person and talk to them should really help
» you see what is possible. You need to have realistic expectations.
»
» I’m 30 years old and NW 4, was really thinking about an HT a few the last
» few years, but mainly unable to do so because of financial reasons. Once
» you go down the path of an HT it is highly unlikely that you will not need
» follow-up procedures down the road.
»
» There are some very good STRIP docs out there, just keep in mind you will
» have a scar on the back of your head. But there are procedures guys have
» done to fill in the scar later with donor hair. Not necessarily knocking
» STRIP but this is the reality.
»
» FUE is another option, but from what I have seen usually yields less and
» is more costly. But if you have the money and find a doctor you are
» comfortable with than good luck.
»
» Not to go off on my own tangent about myself. But I’ve recently come to
» the realization for myself that not having hair isn’t so bad, it isn’t my
» ideal situation. I’ve dumped out my Propecia, and am looking at some
» Natural alternatives to help prevent my hairloss as I sit back and hope for
» Hair Cloning. If it never happens, oh well, I will still be me and live my
» life. But if it does, well I’ll be ready.
»
» Good luck,

Yes, I am the idiot guy around here. I could ask questions all day about this stuff!
I still don’t know how I’m going to handle this, but I may end up going with the same choice you made. I could afford a strip procedure, but I am not a rich man. And I don’t know that I would be willing to undergo a second procedure. Seems like I might be buying myself a few more years of hair, but then having to just go buy more later. I just don’t know about this at all. It’s very hard for me because I play in a band, and am in front of a lot of people when I do this, so my physical appearance is very important to me. I guess I’ll just keep thinking about it, and keep posting here, doing research and such.

I would spend the money in a heartbeat if I knew it would look good though.

Save yourself a lot of money, just shave your head,or at least give that a try, before starting on the run to chase hair every few years!

I shave my head, yes hair would be better, but hair transplants can be a slippy slope,so becareful Research,Research.

Are you on meds to try and keep your existing hair??

Hi,

I’d recommend you FUE instead of strip, for sincerely i believe that Fue technique offers a more healthy and natural solution. For the research part, i’m sure you’re doing the best you can to find the best option for you, as far as i can contribute, i recommend that you send your photos to available clinics and have some plans made on them. This way you can have more solid options to pick. And also by doing this you can see their former patients’ photos which had similar hair loss compared to yours and have a better grip on their possible work on your case. You can also ask for patient references and speak to their former patients who’d be willing to help you, this would be a good way of gathering information and choosing which clinic to work with.

Here is the Hairline Clinic’s mail address; Beyhan Ozkesen, the director of the clinic who prepares the plans of the patients can make a plan on your photos and send them to you in 24 hours, if you send your pictures for consultation:

info@fueturkey.com

I hope you’ll find the best option for you, it’d be the best for you to check every option and consult as many clinics as possible before you decide.

Regards.

To everyone who commented, thanks. I will be sending some photos to a few clinics very soon, and will get back to share my results. I really do need help with this, so your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.
In regards to asking about this stuff, what are the rules here? I don’t want to get banned for posting something I shouldn’t in regards to quotes and recommendations from different clinics.

I doubt you will get banned for posting quotes, post away, I want to see what different doctors quote you.

Can you say who are these doctors? I want to do the same.
