lol ipod

imo a hair transplant is just another cosmetic surgery. i don’t think anyone can get their money back for a cosmetic surgery if they feel the results are not up to their standards. the only time i think there is a chance is if a health concern or issue arised as a result of the surgery, guaranteed results on paper but didn’t match, or sexual abuse while in the chair lol (its happened too many times. dentists?)

Dan,

It’s been a privilege reading your story. I feel like I can relate to you. I also had 2400 FUE’s done on December 9th. If you would like, go and take a look at my updated photos. As you said, going to Dr. Armani is a no brainer. The work he did for me is amazing. I just had zones 4 and 3 restored, and will be updating my progress. Like yourself, I am also very young and if I need more work in the future I know who to go to. In essence, I wish you the very best man and hope that your growth comes out amazing. Thanks for sharing your story.

What do the legal forms normally say? What rights do we have to give up?

» DanUk, looks like you’re going to have some great results.

» Are all the transplanted hair the same density? the crown and the
» hairline?
» or are they at different densities?

Hi Guy,

I think the hairline was transplant at something like 80% & then zones 1 & 2 & 3 have been tranplanted at around 70% ish… I have had no crown work yet tho & will have to have that, along with zone 4 in the future from looking at how I look etc.

Cheers

Dan

Keep us posted on your progress Dan. Your case is pretty similar to mine. Now all you have to do is have the crown done like I did!

Dan my first time ever posting… and I thank-you for your imput. Your results look insane!! meaning excellent!! Forget the negative posters, ive been watching these forums for some time. Armani is top of his class. He didnt need to invent HT… all he needed to do was perfect it. Though other Doctors have come close. Armanis’ consitant strive for perfection is in the results.

Quick question: Do you need to be on Minoxidil/ proscar for transplanted hairs??? which I thought were programmed to last for life or just the “original” hairs on top.

Maybe this is a question for Pats too

I would like to hear Pats’ opinion on this too , according to this guy, transplanted hairs do not last forever

Transplanted hairs that are taken from the safe zone around the back and sides, hairs that are not effected by DHT and MPB will continue to grow and be permanent.

I have seen patients in person who had procedures done back in the 70’s using plugs, the transplanted hair has been there for over 30 years and is still growing and strong.

hey, i noticed you haven’t given any update during 4 months after your procedure. does it mean your results turned out badly?

Hi Dan,
im almost month and half behind you.will be very interested to see your pics and progress. u r probably now getting tonnes of new growth!!-if thats the case lucky ur waiting peroid is over:)

4 months is hardly enough time to tell anything.

4 months is the time when he should already see the new hair start sprouting out. and would be great to hear how is he doing and what are his thougths at this point after his 2nd hair transplant.

You can’t make a self evaluation nor evaluate someone else’s results at 4 months. It’s too premature. It’s possible he has great growth and loses it in a month or 2 due to shockoss, or its possible he has slow minimal growth and sprouts like the average person between months 6 and 8.

Between months 3 and 4 is where hairs JUST begin to start growing after the innitial shed. And this is the time where most patients freak out because they were expecting a full of head of hair lol. Which might be why he’s not posting! Admitedly even I grew impatient and freaked out at that time frame (as Marco may remember lol). It’s all a waiting game and sometimes doesn’t make sense to me why some people post pics 1 week post op and they get “oooh’s” and “aaaahs” about how successful it looks! Lets give him another 2 months and then bump this thread up

Hey everyone,

Apologies for not being on the forum for a while, I have had alot of personal issues to deal with over the past few months.

I have recently moved house & am awaiting internet connection to be installed, everything is fine with my procedure so far, early signs of growth & its month 4 now so things should be kicking in nicely…

As soon as my internet is up & running I will post updated pics etc.

Cheers

Dan

Dan im really pleased for you, im 25 and thinking of a HT too but im a thinner so im not sure about shock loss?

Can i ask how much it has cost you so far, Obviously its worth it coz it makes yu feel better.

Im on med, do u think i should let it get worse and then get a megga session?

with 10,000 grafts, will that be good coverage or will it look thin?

Hi Jason,

Shock loss does grow back - its only temporary…

I cant really discuss cost on the forum because my 1st procedure was FUSS & my 2nd was FUE, there is a difference in price & also my 1st procedure was 4 years ago…
I wouldnt want to tell you how much it was & then you get told it was more etc from the clinic because that is not fair on all parties involved…
Hope you understand my reasoning…

10,000 grafts is enough to cover a NW7!! Check out Ersnt’s results on this site for what 10,000 grafts looks like…

Good luck & keep in touch.

Dan

Great result from Armani. These numbers always worry me for good reason. Even at 70% this means that the donor area taken can only cover 1.3 times that area. If the donor is maintained at 70% of the original density as well then only 1/4-1/3 of the donor can be taken. This means that the balding area can only be about 40% the size of the safe donor area. That means that these numbers are only apropriate for some HT candidates. If it were myself then I would not have re-bolstered the hairline on the second surgery but inclrease the area of coverage, only going back to the hairline if there was enough towards the end.

Looking good and would be interested in your thoughts.

Dan how are you getting on after your HT? do yu have pics to share?
