MuscleBoy Day 16 post op update

Hey guys, I have posted my day 16 post op pictures on my blog. I am a bit concerned about shock loss right behind the recipient site. The area appears much thinner than it used to be (or maybe it’s just in my head, since the hairline is thick?). I am assuming that if it is shock loss that the hairs will grow back because the hairs there were strong and thick. Is shock loss uncommon at 2 weeks post op? I usually hear stories about shock loss occurring after 3 weeks, so I’m a bit confused. I did email Shane, so I will wait to see what he has to say. Other than that, the grafts are still in place and the crusts continue to lift. The hairline looks great, so I’m real excited to see it grow out in the coming months. Here’s my day 16 update:

Here’s a pic of the hairline at day 17 post op. My friends all dig the crew cut look. What do you guys think?

I think your hair looked great before this surgery. Why did you have a second one? Am I missing something here?

There were some gaps around the hairline that needed to be filled in (which was especially evident when the hair was wet). The left side of the hair needed to be thickened. I also got some minor crown work done too (600 grafts). This was an 1850 FUE procedure.

I’m actually a person who smiles more than the average guy. Don’t be fooled by my cold looking exterior :).

how much did 1850 FUE with Armani cost? Can I ask that?
I might need my hairline touched up on the left side as well. Will, he touch it up for free, if the grafts didn’t grown well?

what was the post-op swelling like with FUE?

you could apply to be an extra in a clint eastwood movie , dirty harry comes to mind , seriously you might have a future as a movie bad guy…

Michael, you should contact the Dr. Armani office for their FUE prices. I’m more than certain that they will do everything to accomodate you if some of your hair did not grow out the way it should have.

I’m just hoping that the hair behind my hairline grows back. I don’t know if it’s shockloss or not, but it’s not that pretty right now.

So what did Dr. Armani’s office say about the hair behind your hairline? did they say it was shockloss? what else could it be?

Im sure that if there is some shockloss there that it will grow back, just give it time.
