More Dr Nigam Controversy - Must Read!

Hi All,

I have just joined this forum as I am suffering hairless & its associated implications. I have been following all the various threads on most forums about Dr Nigam but refrained from posting my views & impressions about him but I do believe he is a very insincere individual & coming from the same culture and knowing the mindset of such types am extremely suspicious of his whole agenda.

I am happy to outlines my reasons & suspicions as to his true motivation later but as you know, he has been quite controversial on a number of matters but here is just another one that brings him to negative attention & it seems quite serious. Incidentally, it also somewhat validates some of my initial impressions & suspicions of the guy:

Doctor files FIR against rival for stealing clients

Hair transplant specialist Dr Anjali Shere claims that Dr Vivek Nigam lured one of her technicians with money, and used him to steal her client list and photographs of her cases; also alleges that he is only an Ayurved with no professional qualification[/b]

A 35-year-old doctor has filed a cheating and molestation case against a city-based hair transplant specialist at the Versova police station. In her complaint to the police, Dr Anjali Shere said that she started her practice in 2004 as a hair transplant specialist in Andheri. After tasting success in the field, she opened another centre in the same locality. But the accused Dr Vivek Nigam, who claims to be another specialist in stem cell hair transplant, robbed Dr Shere’s client list and photographs of her clients to use for his business.

Allegations
In her complaint, Dr Anjali Shere, said that Dr Nigam had been harassing her and making lewd comments after calling her up late in the night. He also threatened and abused her.

Anjali said. “Dr Nigam had called me to his clinic and asked me to join it as a director, but when I visited his clinic I found that he was using photographs of my clients and was meeting people who were earlier my clients. I had been out of the field for a few months due to my pregnancy, and taking advantage of that, he stole my clients.

“He lured one of my technicians to his clinic by offering him double salary, and through him, he robbed my client list and their photographs. When I contacted his employee in his Andheri clinic, I came to know that he was an Ayurved and not a hair transplant specialist. Few months back, when I advertised for robotic hair transplantation, he spoke against it,” Dr Shere added.

Copspeak
An officer from Versova police station said, “We have registered an FIR against Dr Vivek Nigam under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act, after going through documents presented to us by the complainant. We are also investigating the allegation that he is a bogus doctor. But we are yet to arrest him. We are searching for him.” Nigam could not be contacted for comment.

Make of it what you will & I hope some of you better at investigative skills than I can look into this further. It certainly will be interesting to see what Dr Nigam has to say about this & what transpires.

Sadly, India is a place where money talks above everything else & anyone can achieve anything with it to suit their agenda so I just hope the truth comes out somehow.

Guys … someone making a fool of us! WTF IS THIS??? LOOK AT THIS SITE: http://dranjalishere.com DR. Anja Sher gives the same guarantee on paper … and everything is the same as the DR. Nigam … It seems that India is the country that has cured baldness long time before … WHAT NOW???

I think he deserves right to respond, anyone who wants to can get his email off his website to send link to. It is only fair that when someone posts something like this, that before everyone chimes in, that they have a fair opportunity to speak for themselves.

Also you are saying he is not a medical Dr. in India, that is a very strong claim, you haven’t provided a tonne of proof in that regard.

Finally the addition of a cultural derisive statement regardless if you are prefacing it with you being from x culture, whether you are or not we don’t know, but that is certainly not validated in your post with citations anywhere.

Maybe the reason he hasn’t appeared here on HairSite for a while (he hasn’t responded to specific posts by myself and Jarjarbinx), is because of Dr. Shere’s complaint. He has disappeared again.

Regarding his medical credentials, I have these observations:

I have never once seen the initials, “M.D.” after his name, not even on his own website. He is referred to with “Dr.” in front of his name, but never as an “M.D.” after it. Any doctor who has really graduated from an accredited medical school will include the “M.D.” after his or her name.

I have seen several times where he was described as a “holistic doctor”. In most countries, this is not the equivalent of an M.D.

“Ayurved” might be the Indian equivalent of a holistic medical practitioner, which is not an M.D. I believe this has to do with Ayurvedic medicine, traditional Indian medicine.

A video was posted on YouTube, where Dr. Nigam was interviewed on what appeared to be a popular Indian TV chat show, something like the Tonight Show in the USA. On that show, the host introduced him as a “cardiologist” who decided to branch off into cosmetic and “lifestyle” medicine. Looking back at that show now, maybe the whole show was a fake, an infomercial disguised as a real show, and paid for by Vivek Nigam himself.

Does anyone know if this is a real Indian talk show, or a fake:

Sounds like a competitor might be a bit jealous of all dr nigams attention and business he’s getting. Only thing concerning me is his official dr status. Hopefully he will let us know soon the story.

very disturbing…

Well we all know who is with Nigam now, working/training/sharing daily, as was discussed already on this site by others prior, so I am not giving up any new info here. If you know who I am talking about he may be able to fill you in here or by pm.

Actually you may also want to pm Nigam himself, if you want to go straightforward with your approach.

Seems to be some conflicting views on which doctor is dodgy on the bald truth forum “Dr Nigam, my own experience” thread.

At the very least you have to check out what she did for George Clooney  Even added a weird black mark on his eyelid to add effect to the norwood 7!!

http://dranjalishere.com/Testimonials.html

Hair Science, is she related to Gho ?

And her motto :-

“One should look a million dollar, rather than to have it.” Dr Anjali Shere

Don’t get me wrong, I have no doubt she’s an expert at extracting the million :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t you think Boldy might be a bit biased, seeing as he works for Dr Nigam and all?

I didn’t mention any names. But since you mention Boldy, he doesn’t or last I checked didn’t work for Nigam.

.

Looks like you removed the comment about Boldy and his “working/training” with Dr Nigam from your post.

Nothing wrong with editing a post, but to edit it and then tell an untruth about it is pretty sleazy.

no untruth told, boldy last I checked

DOES NOT Work For Nigam as I said.

Certainly he is working but not for anyone but himself doing HIS OWN experiments as far as I understand, I am not aware of him accepting any offer to 'work for" Dr. Nigam as I write this.

please if you have further questions just pm him.

Sure

Women are often disrespected and treated very badly in India, I bet the harassment case against Nigam is swept under the carpet by the cops as if nothing had happened.

…never responded to mine either (about effectiveness of his “HM” on older guys as opposed to the young guy he posted the pic on recently.)

Also, in the last series of pics he posted, look closely at the tattoos on the before/after shots–they do not line up accurately on a horizontal plane. (I’m surprised no one else has called him out on this). And he always seems to have an explanation about a delay posting photos, or an excuse about photos not being of a respectable quality.

Perplexing, because he seems to get the science and seems to have legit explanations for why his “technique” works, but I get the feeling he’s used to dealing with a generally much more naïve audience than he’s found here…

Wow. Just wow. Just because he didn’t reply, he isn’t legit wtf? lol, He is a busy man, he hasn’t got time all day to sit infront of his pc and answer all your questions.

Look at this post on btt forum:

Another post for btt by “DeesDab”:

"This is truely disgusting. Look at the folds or wrinkles in his shirt too. They match. What an insult!

There’s another patient pic next to that one on her site that also looks like it’s photoshopped."

Dr Anjali’s website was registered 5 Jun 2013 whereas Nigam in 2 Apr 2010.

It blatant Dr Anjali is fake, but atleast give Dr. Nigam chance to talk first.

Dear All,
It is very sad that some of the members without waiting for my version of any controversy get prejudiced and make their own assumptions and judgements.
This doctor Anjali.Shere. Kindly check, I have mentioned her name few months back in the forum that she was working with me from July 2012 to March 2013. Had also mentioned in my post in Dec.2012 in hairsite forum that she was a common friend of me and Dr.Gho. Few of the old forum members who would remember that she was receiving mail from Dr.Gho regarding me.
She and one more Doctor have opened a clinic just near me in last 2 months trying to copy whatever I do. I also run fellowship academy for training doctors in hair transplant. They have full right to open a clinic but not copy hair doubling which I have not trained them on.
I am also attaching below the mail that I have sent yesterday to the reporter of the mentioned article. The reporter was sorry who tried to contact me as mentioned in the article but I was not contactable as also mentioned in the article. He has promised me the moment I get the complaint quashed, he will expose Dr.Anjali for misinformation and utilising media for professional rivalry.
I have given interviews to various tv news channels and newspapers, I will post the same in coming days and the whole of the media has the same story that its the case of professional rivalry.
Unfortunately, this reporter could not contact me while writing this news.
In the reply to this news reporter below, you will get all your answers.
And to my dear friend Roger, I will scan and post in the hairsite forum my medical registration certificates and you can easily see the blatant lie of Dr.Anjali.
Just go to Dr.Anjali.Shere’s sight and you can see all the photoshopped images of before/ after. She started her clinic 1 and a half month back. She advertises that she does robotic hair transplant and I can guarantee you that she does not have ARTAS ROBOT as on today. She is taking the revenge of my advertisement in the local newspaper where I advertised why Dr.Nigam did not buy an ARTAS ROBOT and I also regularly advertise that FUT/FUE are just relocation of hair and hair doubling and cellular hair transplants are the future.
I am fully aware that lot of professional colleagues will gang against me as I already have a 65% market share of hair transplant in Mumbai.
Also, she might collaborate with Dr.Gho as she has named her clinic hair science and Dr.Gho and Dr.Anjali are good friends.
My ex-assistants, Dr.Saurav and Dr.Sapna have also joined her as she lured them with a little higher salary but alas Dr.Anjali is not doing well at all and she highly frustrated and desperate to take revenge by any means and also she lives next to my building. She is thinking that if she attacks a celebrated doctor like me, then she too will become a little famous.

HERE IS MY VERSION OF THE STORY TO THE REPORTER (SHIVA) OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED ARTICLE with whom I spoke and which will clear you the whole story.

Respected Shiva (The news reporter of the above mentioned article),
Let me briefly mail you my version.

Dr.Anjali.Dange's clinic was shut down and closed in 2008 at Bandra due to complications and complaints against her. I have the list of the same. She approached me in July 2012 and came to my clinic at Andheri, asking for a job and also told me that she is in depression and frustrated as she was undergoing Divorce with her Neurosurgeon husband, Dr.Dange.
Subsequently, she also brought her Father and Brother to meet me at my clinic at Andheri. As per the request of her Father that she should not sit at home but work with an enterprising, renowned and experienced Doctor like me and keep herself busy. I agreed for the same, gave her an employment at my clinic and she started working like any other staff.
In the mean time, she offered me that she has a 'shut-down' clinic since 5 years at Bandra and I should have a look at it and if I agree, then she would like to handle my franchise over there. I DISAGREED to her proposal as I found her INCOMPETENT, not in the right frame of mind due to her personal problems and I understood that she was only interested in SHORT-CUT MONEY by using my name.
Then she decided to rent or sell her Bandra's 'closed-down' Clinic and she requested me that some of hers old stuff of her clinic like stethoscope, cautery, BP machine etc if she can keep at my spacious clinic as she had no other place to keep them and she requested that she wants a long-term professional relationship with my clinic.
Last we met was in Mid-June 2013 when she herself called me on phone and insisted on coming to my home for dinner with me and my wife. She came around 10.30 pm and left around 2.30 am in the morning and was continuously digging and trying to extract from me the details of my Original Inventions of Advanced Special Techniques about my Hair Transplant and Hair Multiplication.
She also commented to my wife that she was jealous of her as she has a lovely family and that had just got a divorce from her Neurosurgeon husband Dr.Dange. After helping her so much technically and how to run a successful medical venture and also counselling her to come out of her depression, I am SHOCKED and AMAZED that she was conspiring all these months against me through my Own Clinic by taking a Salary from Me, secretly learning my latest inventions which are under patent applications and I can produce the witness statements of my staff to whom she was luring to join her new clinic now in the name of Dr.Anjali Shere. I also have Video-Recordings of her Father, Brother and Herself requesting me to help her both professionally and mentally to come out of her depression. I can also produce my Building Society's Video-Recording cameras confirming her last visit to my home for the dinner.
Anyone can note that she is using the same 'Green Colour' of my Brand Dr.Nigam. She has purposely taken a position of her clinic ad below mine and she is virtually copying everything of my clinic model.
I do not believe in adversely commenting about any professional colleague but after her false allegations just to settle business rivalry and disturb me, I will have to now counter her :
  1. Look at her print advertisements and website of before-after pictures, they are photo-shopped pictures, any lay person can find out.

  2. In contrast, anyone can talk to my patients and confirm the genuineness of the before-after pictures of theirs.

  3. She is falsely advertising that she is using a robot for hair-transplant. Kindly check the same at the clinic. She is just doing a normal FUE hair transplant technique with Rs. 40,000 machine from the company named Apex from Chennai.

  4. One of her ex-staff,Mr Shiraz Alam, a hair transplant technician is working with me since last 2 years much before she joined my clinic and she is yet to pay his salary of 5 months.

  5. Anyone can check, Dr.Saurav, my ex-staff is in fact lured by Dr.Anjali and working with her and not the other way round.

  6. I am hurt and disappointed by the fact that why cant professional fights be fought by giving better care and treatment to patients, improving professional techniques with research and development rather than filing false complaints without a single evidence just by using her Father’s little bit political connections.

  7. I was also shocked that I was not even asked for my version neither received any phone call before the complaint was filed by Dr.Anjali. It was the TV reporter who showed me the copy of the complaint, the same has been forwarded to my lawyer.

  8. I also spoke to the concerned senior officer who told me that they are fully aware that its a false complaint due to professional rivalry but since the complaint application had come, they will have to follow the due course of the law by investigating and taking statements from both the parties.

  9. I am also filing RTI application that on what basis or evidence was this complaint filed and by whom it was filed and was there any conspiracy behind it to gain professionally.

  10. I am also filing a DEFAMATION SUIT against her and her father.

  11. One more lie of her story is that I am an ayurvedic doctor. I am an Allopathic Doctor registered with Maharashtra Medical Council. This proves that how openly she is lying for her professional gains and trying to defame me with false allegations as she is unable to compete professionally.

  12. I wish her the best and suggest her to spend more time and effort in her research and beat me professionally rather than wasting her and her patients’ time by hovering around police stations and courts which is not the place where educated professionals fight or debate.

I have a bigger vision for my country by creating Stem Cell Biotech health economic zones to lead the world with affordable and quality health care. These small jealous leg-pullers will not be able to dither me from my vision and goal.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek.Nigam.

I was merely pointing out that I had the same unanswered question as RT. And I’m not taking sides on who is legit and who is an imposter, but it is my prerogative to be skeptical for ALL reasons in my post–not just the one you picked and trivialized–before jumping in and trusting my scalp to someone. If you want to jump in and “go under the knife”, be my guest. I sincerely wish you the best–let us know how it works out.

Like I said, Dr. N appears to know his stuff, but he can’t seem to escape controversy, and non-responsiveness to questions that apply to me, plus all of the photo issues leave me yet unconvinced…

Fellas,

This Dr. anjali is well great at being a photoshop artist, you all must have seen the stupid photoshopped pictures by now. Moreover, her site was registered a month back only whereas her so called great pictures on her website are dated as earlier as 2005. This tells me Dr. Anjali is indeed an idiot woman from India who thinks indians can be easily faked by these miraculous pictures of her. In addition to this, i cant seem to find anything about her on google except her complaint regarding Dr. Nigam.

I am not favouring Dr. Nigam here, but I dont trust Dr. Anjali’s claims. Had it been Drs like arvind poswal or any other equally reputable hair transplant surgeon, I would have given this complaint some weightage.

As far as medical qualifications of Dr. Nigam are concerned, Let us wait for the scanned copies. In my opinion, a person has to be a world class fool or the greatest con artist to run a very big allopathic clinic for years and years openly under false claims of being an allopathic doctor. I believe doctor nigam is neither of them. Rest, the time will tell.

for the time being, i would request all forum members to hold their judgement. let us not discard Dr. Nigam on this complaint from a stupid woman. It would not be appropriate. Boldy’s & tom’s case will prove everything.
