Max...you are german ? it reads this

#1

Perhaps someone can provide more details/clarification:

This morning, 9/8/08 on my way to work I was listening to Paul Harvey’s comment upon the news.

I can’t quite recall the words exactly, be at the end of the segment he referred to an “amazing, startling breakthrough –CURE”- for hair loss coming out of Germany.
He paraphrased the above with the statement that this CURE was to be made available in….MONTHS.

Honestly, I have no clue as to more than that. Please don’t think I’m trying to cause a storm in our little teacup. I’m just wondering if anyone heard the same. I find it hard to believe, but Paul Harvey is a good reliable source of news. I remember that he broke the Stanford story about the creation of new hair follicles on mice months before it came out on the internet.>>>>>>>>

“Eliminating the bad hair day”. It probably means these fibers can be used to “strengthen” and improve the quality of hair. Not that it gives you back your hair

the academia they are talking about is the University of Bayreuth which is a pretty small city south of munich
http://www.uni-bayreuth.de/
unfortunately you guys couldn’t do anything with this webpage since there is no translation available. However, i couldn’t find any useful link concerning the mentioned research.
i just googeled some keynotes an found this
http://portal.acs.org/portal/acs/corg/content?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=PP_ARTICLEMAIN&node_id=222&content_id=WPCP_010551&use_sec=true&sec_url_var=region1
which is no cure for baldness rather than an advancement for your conditioner. assuming that you still need one;-)

I think from germany is nothing in the closest years.Much researchers are working at gene therapy and hair and i think, there is no cure for a long TIME!
One of them works at HM,but i think he give’s up,because Intercytex and Follica are promising.
Someone know something about TAIWAN and Hair in the Laboratory?

Sorry for my english…

P.s I do not understand why you talk Intercytex so bad .Are there any facts that they failed,or if this spekulation?

We don’t need an end to bad hair days, we need an end to no hair days.

Or you need to work on your comprehension skills. I heard the program today (it follows the morning show on my local station), and it mentioned NOTING about baldness. They were talking about haircare, not growing hair. How do you get “cure for baldness” from “cure for a bad hair day”?

I agree, he is not talking about a baldness cure. You don’t need to be so abrasive about it though.

sorry, but you must get an abrasion to have your hair back ( gentle abrasion )
