I’m gonna try dissolving a very low dose of dutasteride into my 5% minox. I plan to dissolve three caps worth for a total of 1.5 mg into a 1 month supply of minox. I’m also currently taking 1.25 of finasteride every day. What do you guys think? I’m hoping that the dose will be low enough that I won’t get the sides of dutasteride but I may benefit from it’s inhibition of both types of 5-alpha reductase. I will continue to take 1.25 mg finasteride orally to keep my systemic levels of DHT controlled, by not so low as to increase the side effects. Anyone else tried a “low dose” approach to topical duta in combo with a normal oral finasteride regimen?

Don’t do that, i dont think it dissolves very well in minox. I just started using dutas topically. I used a needle to poke a small opening in the gel cap and squeeze the liquid directly onto my scalp. Has anyone tried that before? Will it work? Today is only my 2nd day doing that.

How is that going to penetrate the skin??? You need a carrier try phojelm emu oil or aloe vera

I would run this by a HT doc before you start messing with that.
I know many said this won’t work but I have been doing this for almost a month, my hair seems to feel thicker, all I did was to puncture a small hole in the Avo capsule and squeeze the liquid onto my scalp every night. Then I apply minox. I don’t lose as many hairs per day either. It 's still too early to tell, we 'll see .
