Long HT hair?

Has anyone ever grown their HT hair long?? everyone that has had a HT seems to have short hair, whats the reason for this? is it because it looks thicker short ?

I think it’s just a trend that people like to cut their hair short these days.

Most certainly. It’s just like your own natural growing hair. You can grow the hair long or cut it short. Totally at your discretion.

I’ve had 16 procedures (strip) and some BHT in the hairline.
I’ve been growing my hair for about 1.5 years.

Here ya go…

Peace.

sofar,

Umar did a very good job on your hairline. I wouldn’t ‘make’ your hairline as a HT.

Thanks bro. } ; - )

I can’t believe the flack he gets on some hair forums.

My hairline was really looking kinda “pluggy” to me.
Using about 1200 BHT (leg & thigh hair) Dr. Umar SAVED my hairline.

I’m almost one year out and I haven’t gelled by hair back like that since the late 80s!
He gave me my “hair-freedom” back.

Ill be growing my hair as long as I can get away with it at work.

Peace.

Your hair looks great! doesnt look like a HT at all to me

SFSG, your hairline seems to look a lot nicer than it was before, do you think the body hair texture changed after a few cycles?

I think it is getting harder to tell what’s what between the BHT and HT hair.
It has been cycling nicely.

Also, my hairline looks different wet, dry, gelled, inside, outdside, different angles, etc.
All good, IMHO, but different.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Overall, I am VERY happy.

Peace.

woh man you look awesome…but it took time and effort 16 strips!!!

How???Who???why???

My whole hairstory is here to read (just click the link below).

In a nutshell,

I had a strip every year or so between 1992-2003 to “keep up with my hairloss”.
In 2006 I had 1200+ BHT with Dr. Umar to soften my 1990s HT hairline.

15 strips by Dr. Peterson in Beverly Hills - now retired
1 strip by Dr. Ziering - took over Peterson’s practice
BHT by Dr. Umar - hairline only

I know I am VERY lucky to be in as good shape as I am.
Hence my screen name.

If I shaved my head, I don’t think I would like what I would see.
But, I am a longhair at heart. : )
Short for me is an inch or more and I still look good at that length.

However, I have no plans to wear my hair that short in the near future.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

FYI:
I take procecia every other day and apply monox once a day.
I also take MSM, Horsetail, Fish Oil and a Hairmax vitamin every other day as well.
All are inexpensive.

In addition, I’ve been using the amazinglaserbrush.com for almost a year and believe it is making my existing hair thicker, more supple and my scalp is very healthy.

Lastly, I threw away the hairdryer, brush and shampoo twice a week max but use conditioner almost everyday. My hair gets very dry from shampooing and I wanted to cut down on the SLSs.

Peace.
