Laser Comb - What\'s The General Consensus?

So what’s the general take on the laser comb? Is it worth a try? Has anyone had real results with it?

I don’t use LaserComb. I use the amazing hair brush. Not sure about regrowth, but the texture of my hair is 1000% better. I do use it in conjection with minoxidil, so it may be a combination of the two.

Please mate and the Rooster, can you specify the wavelengths used by these two different devices? Any difference?

Rooster was being facetious, I believe. As for Laser Comb, I don’t have it, so I don’t know its wavelength (I was looking for some feedback on it).

No, seriously I use a brush. Not sure of the wavelength, but I definitely see a difference as far as the texture and look of my hair. Again, not sure about regrowth due to the combo of the brush and minoxidil. I really do use it and see no reason to stop doing so, as I feel I’m maintaining growth. The one I use is called the amazing laser comb, and again I’m serious; I really do use it.

Are the pics on the above site for real? Hangin’ did you get results even remotely like that? The improvement seems very significant.

I find it really hard to believe that this actually works but i could be wrong.

dateline nbc did a 3 person test, one used i think rogaine, the other a laser comb, the other guy got a transplant

of course the transplant looked the best

the laser comb sort of had results after 6 months but it was not that impressive

Honestly for me it’s not about regrowth. The texture of my hair is much better than before I used it and what I do have has thickened a bit. It may all be in my head…who knows. Hair didn’t miraculously sprout from everywhere, but I’ve certainly maintained what I do have since I’ve used it. Again could be a coincidence.

I do again point out that I use minoxidil once a day, take saw palmetto, super b complex, and a mega hair vitamin.

which hair vitamin do you use

also if you are responding to saw palmetto you might try adding a few more dht blockers
mine did bettr and better when i added pygeum, nettles, beta sis

I’ve been using the amazinglaserbrush.com for over a year.

I have no intention of putting it down.

The quality of my hair is excellent these days.
Regrowth? Maybe in the crown. Hard to say.
I also use it on my temples, which I believe are better defined now.
Also use it in my scarred donor area and believe it has helped that area thicken up.

My hair is strong, curls well defined and not much shedding.
Scalp health, excellent.

In the last year the only things I have added to my routine is the laserbrush, fish oil and MSM. I’m a big believer in that too.

Without opening a can of worms, I now shampoo twice a week and condition almost everyday. Shampooing every day left my hair very dry and brittle, especially without conditioner.

Could be “all in my head” but I’m sticking with it.

I use it every three days or so for about 20 minutes.

My HT doc thinks it’s silly but understands why I continue to use it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Ciao.

how much did you pay for that brush, or comb
is there only one lasercomb or is there more than one manufacturer

i also love MSM , if you want to see more amazing results try adding horsetail

Sofarsogood,

I agree about your comment about the temples. I’ve experienced the same thing with definition. Again overall hair quality improved as well. I actually bought mine after reading a post you made in regards to it. Thanks by the way.

I have had four transplants and am heading out to Dr. Umar for 3000 grafts this June. So this definitely isn’t a stand alone for me.

I feel the amazing laser brush has definitely helped. I actually use mine every day. In the crown area there is definitely some hair where there wasn’t and overall it has thickened up a bit.

I know people are skeptical, but I’m very happy with it’s results.

Happy New Year

The one I got was around $100. It was a boar’s hair brush with six lasers.

Good news The Rooster!
I use the same one.
I’m tempted to get the one with 8 lasers if/when this one wears out.

Also, you have excellent taste in docs. ; )

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Good luck!

The Rooster,

I reread your post.

Honestly, I wouldn’t use it everyday.
IMO, the scalp needs time to “process” the effect of the laser treatment to benefit.
Like muscles after a workout.

Does that make sense?

I think most of the hand-held lasers are to be used every other day max for 15 minutes or so.

That’s what I’ve been doing.

Ciao.

Sofarsogood,

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I’m overdoing it a bit. I’m going to switch over to every other day. There is such thing as too much of a good thing.

I’m pretty psyched about going to Dr. Umar next summer. 3000 grafts should make a big difference. Also my wife and I get a week in California to boot.

Again, thanks for the advice.
