Snippet from this article:

"But here’s the catch - the pill probably won’t be able to reverse the process once hair has started going gray. The company’s scientists say you’d need to start taking the anti-gray pill far ahead of time. "

Sh’t !!!

Anyway - THANKS Khalil!

EDIT

Catch #2:

“Bernard added you’d probably have to take the anti-graying pill everyday like a vitamin, perhaps as much as ten years before you started turning gray.”

Wow - seems after Propecia and Minoxidil the biggest (useless) money-making-machine on this planet ever … what an asshole …

Theres a seperate team from Columbia University that is using WNT to reverse the greying process.

Just watch the second part of the video in the link (Click the play button, the first video is about L’Oreal the second video talks about WNT and the team from Columbia)

Okay, this looks like a piece of crap. They start selling the pill, and making money for 10 years, until people start complaining that it doesn’t work.
Some people who take the pill, will start graying before 10 years, and these won’t be able to complain.
The rest will start graying after 10 years, (for example, 12 years) and then L’oreal will be able to claim that the pill was successful because it delayed the process by 2 years, or they could simply claim that these persons were non-responders.
Nice try. Looks like a total skäaaámmm to me.

Also, HOW DO THEY KNOW THAT IT WORKS?
HAVE THEY CONDUCTED 10-YEAR+ LONG CLINICAL TRIALS ON MEN? I DOUBT IT!

Yup, there’s what I meant - just in other (civil) words …

“Dr. Jonathan Zippin, a dermatologist at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, told ABCNews.com this kind of preventative solution to grey hair is “really difficult to prove” because some people never go grey, and others only grey a little bit. If researchers gave the pill to someone who never got grey hair, there would be no way to know if it was because of the pill or not.”

So, practically EVERYONE would be “forced” to buy and take this pill, independent whether the pill is really working for you or not - simply due to fear.

Yea I don’t think this will be a big seller…

addendum:

if you are taking the pill for 12 years, and then you start to gray, L’oreal will claim that you really started to gray at 9 years, but you didn’t notice. Then you won’t be able to complain.

It seems the guys at L’Oreal have found a nice way to fool people. These kind of things should be totally banned unless they are backed by clinical trials (in this case, they would have to be 10+ years long clinical trials, randomized, and placebo controlled).

if you want protection against oxidation stress, eat a diet high in anti-oxidants.

i doubt it will do anything for your hair though.

in fact, the L’Oreal pill uses a fruit extract.

The company hopes to have a pill on the market by 2015 that will prevent oxidation stress, the process that causes hair to fade from jet black or deep red to silver or gray. The pill uses a fruit extract that does something similar to the body’s own enzymes that control hair pigmentation.

“L’Oreal — which has been developing the drug for more than a decade — say it won’t be available until 2015. And it will take ten more years before they can prove it works because it takes that long for gray hairs to sprout.”

I agree with some of the posters, so i need to wait 10 years before I know whether the stuff works or not? That sounds ridiculous to me, I can’t think of another product like that.

I have created a pill. It gives people eternal life. It has to be taken at birth. If someone dies it means that one or two days forgot to take the pill.

» I have created a pill. It gives people eternal life.

Sorry, I have to disappoint you but such a pill is already on the way …

But here is the catch especially for YOU:
The scientists behind this breaktrough are Jews … :expressionless:

L’Oreal is a cosmetics company, not a drug company. They’ve never made a pill before… what makes anyone think they’ll be able to do it now? This is total corporate public relations BS to bump up their stock price.

Thanks Khalil for the sharing interesting and informative post I am happy to find this post very useful for me.

what do you guys make of this? is this for real? doesn’t make sense! i want something that can reverse the process, not something to take after the fact.

http://money.msn.com/now/post--loréal-patents-secret-potion-for-gray-hair

"people would need to start using it “before their hair goes gray because we don’t think it can reverse the process once it has started.”
