I’ve been going to this forum for the past 4 years and waiting for HM to come but alas still waiting. I’ve been quiet since. but now its 2009 and still no hope. They can clone a sheep and human body parts but they can’t regrow a hair follicle? This is friggin ridiculous.
I have a suggestion.
There has got to be a reason why they’re making us play the waiting game.
It’s because they want us to go get a hair transplant!
but the problem is that most of us don’t have that many hair left to transplant, not to mention money, now that recession has hit us hard.
so…in order for HM to exist, we’ve got to STOP hair transplant doctors from squeezing anymore money out of us.
If they have no money, then they will have to revert to HM.
so its really up to us to make a difference.

I personally don’t think there is a conspiration from the HT surgeons.
I think, plain and simply, that the researchers in the cosmetic field have been traditionally a bunch of incompetents, and thats why any advance here is very slow.
Traditionally, cosmetic issues have been considered less important. That is why the good researchers don’t dedicate themselves to this field.
This seems to be changing in recent years, but still with very little results.

research for cosmetic issues is a whole new thing. some decades back there even wasnt something like cosmetic surgery. research for cosmetic issues is the next step, but its still in its beginning.
People need to stop looking at the situation so emotionally. Look with your wallet and the situation does not seem so sinister.
A generation ago cosmetic surgery was in its infacy - FOR WOMEN. Let alone men.
And human scalp hair has proven to be a particuluarly tough nut to crack. There’s nothing so impossible to believe about them not being able to cure it yet.
The fact is that there is too much money at stake with a cure for ANYONE or ANYTHING to stand in the way of this. The monetary influence of a couple thousand HT surgeons is an absolute joke compared to the prize waiting for the winner of this race. It’s a JOKE. We’re talking SEVERAL DECIMAL POINTS too small to stop it.
I mean, if they were so busy stopping hair loss research, then why won’t they go ahead and fund a cure for strip-scars while they’re at it and double their business? The answer is they can’t. They don’t have anything resembling that kind of power.
