After Hair Transplant, is it OK to Pop or Scratch Pimples on Scalp? I scratched some pimples in week 7 and some liquid with blood and hairs came out from the pimples. Did I damage grafts?

Agreed, I wouldn’t recommend scratching or popping them, but if one does pop or you scratch one at 7 weeks it will not dislodge the graft.

It’s OK to touch the recepient after first 10 days or 2 weeks. How do you wash your scalp or apply minox without touching the recipient area? Pimples after HT, at around week 7, are rarely a sign of infection. It is usually a good indicator that the hair beneath them are ready to sprout. However, if you are experiencing a large number pimples, you may want to contact your hair transplant surgeon to make sure it’s not folliculitis.
