Stop making these awful threads.

Histogen’s process could not be replicated at home. Follica’s is the only one that someone would have a chance to -somewhat-emulate at home.

The Histogen photos are exciting stuff. Its down to Aderans, Histogen, Follica, and more remotely, ACELL. Those are the four “players” now, in the quest to be able to “make more” hair on the human head. I think you can simply forget about ICX myself.

Yup - Histogen is a complicated, propietary technology which would be impossible to replicate. Right now, it seems Aderans is the front-runner, having already begun phase I trials. Histogen is close behind, and who knows where Follica is. Acell is a lost cause (never was a real possibility to begin with), as is ICX, obviously.

If any of these technologies pan out, its going to be at least 7 years before they reach the market. The best we can hope for is that they remain transparent about their success or failure so we can at least determine whether or not they’re worth getting excited over.

Aderans are in phase II, and they say phase II will finish by the end of '09. They seem to be much more serious about moving their trials along than ICX ever was. If phase II is indeed finished by the end of this year, a product could be on the market as soon as 4 years from now.

I’m sure that Histogen involves a hypoxic culture that creates ECM… ECM it seems you are fallaciously keen to criticize on one hand but praise on another.

I’m sure that if someone let you choose between sleeping with Jessica Alba ( maybe Charlize Theron if you like blondes ? or whoever you want ) and some ECM graft material, you say the last one. WTF ?

I’d choose any of the two on a first come first served basis.

But, what he has said, it could be perceived as him saying something like, ‘I hate apples,’ in one sentence, ‘but I love apple pie’ in the next.

Getting to sleep with one hot chick, one time?

Or permanently getting all my hair back instead?

Hmm . . .

Hair first, hot chicks are a plenty for later on for the guy with kick ass hair.
