ACell is not Oasis. Oasis is made by Cook and is SIS (small intestine submucosa. It is first generation extracellular matrix discovered by Dr. Steve Badylak.
ACell is second generation ECM based on UBM or Urinary Bladder matrix. It is acellular , extracellular matrix. The soup that cells normally live in, but it includes the basement membrane that some believe help signal progenitor cells to populate it and differentiate into normal tissue.
