I HAVE NEVER have believed that ICX-TRC was coming that fast. I was NEVER among those pushing that crazy “possible early commercialization during phase III” crap that was going around back then. The most anyone could get out of me on that issue was a vague “maybe it’s technically possible but I doubt it” kind of viewpoint.

Debris, I transfer that rant over to you for the most part.

If I believe that Folica is probably sitting on major info, why does that automatically signal that I ALSO believe they’re about to release some awesome new product within 12-24 months?

It’s putting words in my mouth to make that jump.

I never thought ICX was likely to be coming in 2008. (Well, maybe I thought that in 2001 or something, but not anywhere near recently.) There has probably never been a time when I’ve ever been saying TRC looked any less than 3-4 years away at minimum.

I also do not currently think Folica is within a year of the commercial market. I don’t know what my real guess would be, maybe 3-5 years if we’re very lucky.

This isn’t aimed at anyone in particulat but why are some people waiting on TRC like they are expecting it to be some holy grail cure all, full head-o-hair treatment?

It was never (as far back as I can tell) pushed/said or marketed by ICX as any of those things.
They have always been adamant that it will give growth that would be usefull as a filler for a transplant and nothing more, if it grew more then it would have been unexpected but great.
This has been reiterated in my eyes by the small amounts of information they have given so far, the regrowth they have achieved (in my point of view) is obviously small.
So I think they are on track with their original plan to fill in HT’s.
I personaly don’t like the idea of getting a transplant and I personaly wouldn’t bother waiting on TRC unless you are happy with the idea of chasing your loss with transplants and a few bonus TRC hairs.
That is if we ever see TRC at all. (I think we will in a few years, but I don’t think it will live up to the hype it gets) :slight_smile:

i think this is a good view about intercytex. i hope similar. i would go for transplants + TRC if it could give me a full head of hair forever in a few years.

What messes me up is the fact that dermabrasion alone seems to do so much of ICX-TRC’s total results they’ve produced so far.

Right now anyone can get regular old dermabrasion done to their scalps by a trained professional derm.

If you started just doing that a couple times a year, you’d probably end up with a hell of a lot more hair than the first TRC program is capable of producing. And you’d probably get there many years before the first TRC program ever gets released in the first place. And that’s for a couple hundred bucks a session and no unknown meds or processes. And no waiting in line behind the billionaires upon release either.

If I was a potential ICX-TRC investor, I would be demanding to see proof that the TRC program will be capable of any major improvement over this.

It says that I like to laugh at him. As for who’s responding to whom, he’s the one that’s e-stalking me. I haven’t started a post about him in a while - he keeps looking for my posts to respond to. In fact, its all he ever posts about now. Creepy! I envision him as a Travis-Bickle type. One room apartment, night-shift job (by choice - less people to have to interact with), no friends, certainly no women. He’s awkward and self-conscious. His bald head is just one of the things he’s ashamed of. This site - and particularly me - lets him expend all that pent-up rage he carries around all day. I have now become the focus of his life.

Is there any question that he isn’t? Look at his behavior. He e-stalks me relentlessly. He creates little lists about me. Clearly he has obsessive stalking tendancies, which would certainly play out in his real life. People with those behaviors are loners, unable to create meaningful relatioships with others, especially women.

He never refutes any of the things I’ve said about him.

-ICX is hiding trial information now. It is very clear now. Not only they aren’t posting any photos, but not even numbers of hairs. Not even bloody percentages. Nothing.

-Kemp said that phase II was going to be done on 2 distinct areas of the scalp: a totally bald area and a thinning area. But this has not been mentioned in the results.

-Some guys in this forum have been fighting to enter the trials, but ICX has never shown any interest on enrolling them.

-ICX has used TRC to get free advertisement. Same trick as Gho, Bazan, Bosley… ICX became famous because of TRC, not because of the skin products.

-Kemp is quite bald, and he said that he grew 66 hairs on phase I where no hair growth were expected. He also said that someday “baldness will be a choice”. When you see this bold attitude, from a veteran researcher like Kemp, you expect results.

-Kemp posted two photos in a PDF document. These photos were not labelled, but they clearly looked like before and after TRC photos, with very good growth. It is very irrisponsible to post these photos unless you are very sure that TRC is working well. The fact that Kemp posted these photos without labelling them, and seeing now that TRC is going to be a total failure, makes me think that Kemp posted these photos with misleading intentions.

-The fact that ICX always used very few trialists for TRC, and the fact that they spent very little money on these trials, and the fact thay they spent almost all the money on the skin products, makes me think that they knew from the very beginning that TRC was a loser. And these trials were done just to get media attention and free advertising.

-About the protohairs: this reminds me of Bazan’s “baby hair in a petri dish”.
Maybe they are reinventing the same ?

-Remember this: ICX is selling stocks. Same as seeking donations.

-Vavelta has been officially launched, but no photos have been posted.

Of course, this is all a bit speculative on my side.
Maybe I am wrong after all.
I hope I am, and I hope ICX will show us something good in the future.
But unless they show us clear evidence, that is PHOTOS, and nothing else than PHOTOS, I won’t believe them a word.
