The technique, developed by the company Intercytex, will be available to consumers in the next five years and can repair the damage to the hair for reasons such as chemotherapy or simply age.

thanks; very good news, and it looks that we finally have a … pic ? … It seems that it won’t be a miracle but it could be considered as a “superminoxidil”

» Friday, October 17 2008,which is today.

But if it’s the same conference than the one reported here :

http://www.hairsite.com/hair-loss/forum_entry-id-30391.html

Then, it would be June 2008, but whatever, if I’m not wrong, no pics had been shown for now.

sounds great. if this will be available in the next 5 years then the problem of hairloss is solved for many people. it probably wont regrow a nw1 from a nw7 but for guys who still have hair this may get great.

phase II will be ended next spring. then they probably need 3 years for phase III. so 5 years is realistic. and the photo looks very very good. like a super-minoxidil.

thx junior!

Underneath the photo it clearly says foto:ep. Ep probably stands for Europapress and I find it hard to believe that intercytex would have given photos to the press without having any on their website. So I dont think that photo has anything to do with icx. Just a photo that fit the article.

And the article is from 200806031 if you actually read the link.

Well it’s good to know both follica and icx-trc basically work…now just like mjones said we need that stuff out already :stuck_out_tongue:

#14

I think that is not hair multiplication, but a casual pic of a transplant, only to give an image to the article… seems to be too good to be in that site and not in the official ICX site…

I agree 100%. ICX has never reported treating an area that large, therefore the image has nothing to do with ICX-TRC. This is another dopey article about Intercytex reporting the need for 1000 injections and a solution within 5 years.

yes, I assumed it was a pic form Intercytex but maybe it isn’t, but in this case I can’t see why they are placing it there.

ya true. maybe it seemed to good to be true.

That picture is not ICX result. Just some journalist picked some picture because articles without pictures are much less read then those with pics.

Whoever believes that this is ICX-TRC picture, is naive and should visit brainlosshelp.com asap.

It even reads photo ep. Which stands for European Press, which is the company that wrote and published the article. Its their random ht regrowth illustrational photograph.

yes, I saw that pic and tried to be optimistic, but I failed miserably
However, I’ve emailed them to ask about the pic, no answer yet. As you can see, I can be naive too when I try.
