I have emailed Aderans (ARI) about Gho\'s patent coincidence

copy of my email, sent yesterday to info at aderansresearch dot com

Subject-header: Gho versus ARI-2006 patents. About plucked hairs. Both were filed same day??

Hi:
I am “Spanish Dude”, from Hairsite forums. (Hair Multiplication forum).
At the forum, we follow very closely everything related to ARI’s research.
The other day, we found out that ARI and Dr. Gho filed patents exactly the same day, 11/22/2006, and about the same subject:
Hair Multiplication, using plucked hairs.

LINKS:

Gho’s patent:

ARI’s patent:

ARI’s patent is much more advanced technically. Gho’s patent looks like a cheap copy.

Could you explain this coincidence? I mean, the timing coincidence. Even the publication date was the same.

Is there any kind of cooperation between ARI and Dr. Gho? Or is Dr. Gho trying to copy you?

Another forum member, James Bond, says that ARI is ripping off Gho’s discoveries. I don’t agree. Could you comment on this?

If possible, I would like Barrows’ or Washenik’s comments.

Thank you
yours, Spanish Dude

Lol!

Is that really Spanish Dude and Dr. Gho? if it is, I think Dude’s english is pretty good.

By the way, in three languages “Gho” literally means sh*t. I kid you not.

Good email Spanish Dude. Definetly keep us posted.

why did you airbrushed Gho’s hair?
btw, Gho is getting quite fat. He looks a lot like Bazan.

Yes, you already mentioned that. I think everybody on HairSite appreciate your knowledge in languages.

Spanish Dude - don’t expect their quick feedback. i have sent them couple of emails. one of them i sent about more than half year ago and i got respond to my letter 2 months later. in my opinion it’s not normal. about month ago i sent another email and i still haven’t got any respond from them. i don’t know do they really have so busy there or they just avoid giving back feedback or they are just too lazy. if they are lazy to respond emails then i hope they are not so lazy with their hm thing. by the way… would be respectful to answer emails faster. it’s not normal to wait respond more than month. they have a big company and they probably have there spokesman and i know that in our company this kind of people answer to clients/journalists very fast, usually during 1-2 days. i don’t know, maybe in USA all companies act like they do but here were i live we are not so slow giving feedback.

well, I posted here at the forum hoping that they saw my post and they took extra care to answer my mail.

Then, as I was having no reply, I was thinking like “oh, they are avoiding to respond me to avoid polemics or because they have something to hide”.

But now that you tell me this, I see that this is a general problem.

krapok, did they respond to you personalized replies, or just “robotic-like” replies? was the reply worthy?

They are well funded, so they have the resources to respond quickly. If they are not replying fast, this is because they don’t want to.

I remember that ICX had Katharine Harris responding emails quickly, but the replies were quite contradictory, and now we see that they were worthless, just to look good in front of the public. So maybe no replies is better.

Well, if I were them, I would reply: “SORRY, TOP SECRET STUFF”, and thats it.

I see no reason these companies have to reply at all. They’re not HT surgeons where their reputation is the driving force to their business. These companies have no use to humor little forum goers, who can contribute nothing to their cause, nor cause any harm to their endeavors. Once their product proves effective, they’ll have a line outside their doors regardless of good PR or bad.

They are definitely not going to reply to Spanish Dude’s childish email. Aderans has better things to do, not to mention the potential legal liability they may be exposed to by replying to such a sensitive question.

» krapok, did they respond to you personalized replies, or just

they didn’t answer anything good like i asked/wanted. most of questions what i asked they just dropped out and didn’t answer them.

checked my old emails:

1st letter i got from them 2 months later:

We are recruiting for our Phase 2 clinical research study in the US. We must at least await the results of the study before we can provide an estimate of general availability with any assurance. We understand the interest and desire to have a cell-product such as ours available for treatment of hair loss, and are working diligently to meet the hopes of people such as you.

We suggest you monitor our website for updates, www.aderansresearch.com

this email sounds like a template email (copy/paste mail)

i see i have another email from them too and this i got again 2 months later after my email for them

We do not quote specific timeframes for the conduct of our Phase 2 study. This is a complex study and conducting under routine review. Any consideration of what happens if this study is not successful is premature. We also do not comment on the unpublished results of competitors nor researchers. Nevertheless, ARI intends to continue working to become the first and the leader in offering cell based therapies for hair loss.

this email sounds a little bit more like a short answer to my letter but once again, nothing good. if they give so short feedback then i don’t understand why it takes 2 months :S

oh, Leonard thinks my email is childish. No surprising, as we know Leonard is another Gho cheerleader.

you came to this forum and you expressed enthusiasm about Gho, and said that you were going to see him for a transplant…now you have recently said that you haven’t gone to Gho, because you are very busy because of the credit crisis…mhhhh

yeah, pretty worthless replies…
the fact that they were both replied after 2 months indicates that they were both delayed 2 months automatically.

Dr. Ken Washenik, May 2004:
» “It’s the Holy Grail of hair technology and

So what?

Dismayed by the response of humans to his innovative methods dr.Gho has decided to serve loyal animals…(At least they do what they are told)
This is before and after pic of one such success

Wow!
Actually I didn’t know that Dr. Gho did large clinical animals trails before.
But here you guys once and for all can see:
The results of Dr. Gho’s technique have been SUPERB in animals trails!

And here you can see SUPERB human results - patient just 1 day after the procedure (10 Nov 2009):

I don’t believe in Gho at all, and I think your email is childish. Do you really think such a professional company would feel much obligation to reply to a person that has signed themselves off as “Spanish Dude”. I assume a secretary or an administrator will deal with emails, not the Chief Scientific Officer, and they will only know what the company tell them they can relay to the public. Washenik is not going to take time out of his day to settle an argument between “james bond” and “spanish Dude” from hairsite. Not to mention how accusing and sensitive the questions you have asked are.
