Histogen in 2 years in asia?

» Well, this 2011-2012 launch is now clearly impossible.

Don’t bash Spanish Dude. You have to know, Spanish Dude is a little bit stupid (more likely retarded). He just copied & pasted my post from there (link) and thought it fits better in this old Histogen thread.

Only because the delayed the trials for 5 months doesnt mean they cannot start in 2013 @ SPanish Dude daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh

It could also mean they wanna look for really bad cases like NW7 in their 60s to see if it will work even there.

Spanish DUde is a nay sayer, i hope he will be banned

I don’t know. It seems they will need all phases, but maybe the information gathered in Asia could allow them to do shorter phases, or rather, shorter bureaucracy.

BTW Histogen closed their fund raising

You wanna know how much the got together? over 5 million dollars

Calm down Leeroy.
Look, I will explain to you, so that you can understand.
Read carefully:

In October 2009, Naughton said that a product could be available in Asia in 2 years. In other words, October 2011 launch. See the article in this thread.

But according to the latest update, Phase I+II trials are going to start in Singapore in Feb 2011, and once they are completed, we will still have to wait for Pan-Asia Phase III trials. The Oct-2011 launch seems very difficult.

Ok but hey, timelines are timelines  We all know that they mean nothing  so 5 more month are not that big of a deal.

I think it is more important that Histogen got over 5 million dollars for their new research and study programs.

This is really remarkable

Good to know.
Is this series A or series B? I didn’t bother to compile this information in the past.
Now I am reading that Follica got 5.5M in Series-A, and 13M in series-B.

Okay thanks, this is 5.35M USD, almost the same as Follica in Series A.
But there is something in the article that seems incorrect (or my english is not good enough):

The initial close of Series A financing will allow Histogen to maintain timelines for product introductions, including the company’s first tissu 317 e engineering products, which are slated for launch in late 2008 and early 2009. From two product families, Exceltrix and HGEN-001, which are derived from a single manufacturing process, Histogen forsees a breadth of applications in a variety of markets, from research tools to cosmeceuticals.

AIDS is just as deadly as it ever was. The issue is that not everyone who becomes HIV-positive necessarily contracts AIDs.
