This local patient came to see Dr. Hasson in September, 2009. Dr. Hasson and his team transplant 5372 grafts in one session. The patient and Dr. Hasson planned for two sessions for as much coverage as possible with the first session focusing on density in the front half. This is a perfect example of the “one and done approach” as the front half is transplanted one time with desired density and coverage. Session two will address the crown only.

Joe, I am damn impressed with the larger strip results you have been posting. 5,000+ graft sessions in one sitting, very impressive. This one included.
It takes some balls to show a result that is not on some twenty something with slight recession and using a ton of grafts to front load the hairline. I can really appreciate this honest result.
I also like the fact that you didn’t rebuild the temple points. Sometimes it looks more natural to have that recession and draws less attention. This patient doesn’t even need to fill in the crown, his face is framed very nicely. Although he could update the hair style to really enhance the final result.
That donor area is staggering. I would really appreciate some description of your strip excision technique to understand how this is possible. It must surely be more than just pre-surgery scalp exercises. surely there is a degree of undermining surrounding tissue??? Excellent result with clearly a good yield!!!
Little confused about donor
A. If he had 5k for that tuft of hair in front and he is going back; wont he need another 5k to 8k for rear coverage?
B. So many people here have been mocking other Docs for 10K HT?
If this is just the beggining stages and he really can do more thats cool with me. Im sure he’ll be very happy. If he cannot go any further… buzz the head is the place to be.
Id rather see little more definition with hairline for this man… not too aggressive, because the back of the head isnt as important and we do have concealers if we wanted.
Thanks for the honest videos
Thanks for the “older” clients
I would DEMAND ALL DOCTORS to start showing VIDEOS and OLDER clients immediately THIS process should be the industry standard
I would as a team of “US” hair loss suffers to boycott/demand All doctors to conform to video representation or consider pics at a lower grade level and not to be taken as seriously as video… everybody nowadays owns some sort of video camera… start using it!!! no excuses final
I don’t know what he was thinking, but if he fills in the crown then no contest, he will blow the ‘before look’ away. A lot of grafts concentrated in a the traditional frontal third (no temples). My question would be, did the patient want it this way? IMHO, I would have thought shorter, flatter and more spread through the crown would be the way to go, but barren zones are more willing, I understand both in a psychological (fill it!) and physical sense (no transection of previously transplanted grafts) sense.

A great confidence builder for strip. These guys have done such a brilliant job with strip in the '00s, it has kept strip ahead of FUE in the public perception.
Problem is, a brilliant, Gold Standard, world-beating, ear-to-ear strip scar is always a strip scar, albeit, a world beating one.
But with 6000 healthy grafts growing, who cares???

I have to crunch some numbers to see how much $$$ I can save doing strip, if I could repair the strip scar with fue, maybe strip plus fue is a better option than doing fue alone.

You see, this is what I was talking about in the other H & W thread where the guy’s hairline was so high it looked like he had a hairpiece perched on top of his head.
This guy, while having a high hairline, looks great - it looks like natural, age-appropriate recession. A big improvement on his previous look and presumably he still has some in the donor bank to get some crown coverage and maybe a bit of hairline lowering, if he wants it. But even without that this looks like a good stand-alone job.
