Hairy back caused by sun damage?

Was watching this TV show on Channel 4 about embarrassing illnesses when this guy comes on with a patch of hairy back. Turns out it started when he got sunburned as a kid.

The Doc said the condition had a name? Any idea if this is somehow related to wounding / hair growth?

Just looked it up.

May be genetic, but is often associated with sun damage.

I think you should address this issue to Hangin.
He would know if it is genetic or not and he could provide that hairy backed man with a regimen for this condition.
