Hey guys! I’ve not been around much over the last month or two becuase I’ve been moving house and settling in. I also didn’t have internet for about 6 weeks which was a real pain both for work and more importantly for updating you guys with my progress haha
So here I am, just over one year out and I have been having a blast!! I’ve even been experiementing wih styles and colours! I got back on the dating scene and have met some incredible people, one of whome is rather special indeed. Having my hair back gives me so much confidence I feel like my old self again. I even swim every morning before work, when before my HT I hadn’t been in a pool for over ten years. I haven’t told my best friend of 17 years about my HT and he keeps saying things like “man you’re lucky you still have all your hair”. I’m sure he’s noticed somethig has improved though because he does comment on it from time to time.
Here’s the lastest pics. Excuse the weird colour as they were taken just before I dyed the back and sides to match the top. Next updatethings will look alot better. It’s only because I have my hairline back that I am so interested in doing thing like dying it and trying different styles - I guess because now I can :o)

I’m 28 and have been on Dutasteride and Minoxidil for 3 years now and my hairloss has stabilised and my crown has thickened up.

You better hope it stays stabaliZed because you are way to young to say the hairloss progression has stopped because of age.
Hopefully the medicines will prevent any future loss.

looks good man, i hope you have stabilized your hairloss because that’s a whole lot of grafts for the hairline.

out of curiosity how did your best friend not notice you had work done? did you just duck him until the scars healed? what did you do when going back to work?
seems harder to hide temple and hairline work than anything else after getting an HT.

I’d been wearing hats alot because of hairloss so I just kept wearing hats until things looked good again. I work for myself so it’s not like I have to go into an office or anything, which was lucky.

The results look very good and this is what I have expected from this clinic.
My balding zone was much bigger than yours. What I want to say about the problem of friends and go outside is, that, regarding this point, strip surgery has a little advantage. Because the hair is not completely shaved. With FUE, I also keep wearing hats until 3 month after surgery. This time the hair was at a length, where my old scars from strip surgery has been covered again, and I look
quite normal again. Otherwise everybody would ask you, what has happened?
