This is only the second procedure performed at Hasson & Wong to break the 5000 graft barrier and it was nearly six years ago. Time flies!
This patient came to Hasson & Wong after extensive research and decided that Dr. Hasson would be the surgeon for him. This is a perfect example of “one and done” as one pass in one area was enough to finish the patient with no need for any additional work in the same area. This patient receive 5234 grafts in the frontal half of his scalp. The placement extended into his existing hair for proper blending. The result shown is nearly six years post-op.

Not even close, Pats. This one was the second procedure over 5000 and it was six years ago. I believe that shortly afterward Dr. Wong hit 5825 then Dr. Hasson broke 6000 and both have done over 7000 on some patients. For some reason Spaniards on average have much higher donor density than others and most of our biggest sessions were performed on patients from Spain. They also seem more committed to scalp exercises as some arrive after having performed them for six or more solid months.

The coverage is amazing but the design makes him look like he has a very high and uneven forhead especially along the left temple.

What is uneven is his hair style. The length falls down over his right temple thus giving the illusion that the left is higher. Simple as that and is very common with longer hair styles.

WOW! 7,000 grafts in one session, that’s awesome Joe. Truly.
I remember doing scalp exercises, they do work in my opinion.
