This is not bad if all you want is just some decent coverage and not care about a gorgeous hairline with high density, only 1680 grafts which seem a lot lower than the number that other doctors typically use on this board. Many of the doctors who post here easily use 3,4,5000 grafts on any given day. It is nice to see that you don’t always need that kind of number to achieve good results.

Obviously these are only 6 months pictures and we do expect this patient’s hair to get even better in the next 6 months to come .

That is fine if you don’t care about your hairline. It looks like he has to comb his hair forward to create an artificial hairline, almost like wearing bangs. It is very efficient use of grafts, big bang for your bucks for sure but you also sacrifice a lot of the artistic elements that most of us want in a transplant. To each his own, if you have a small budget this is definitely an option.

With all due respect , this is only 6 months after the transplant , perhaps it would be better to wait untill 12 months mark to evaluate the results properly .
Also , I should point out that in almost 11 years of treating patients , we have never had a complaint about hairline .
I agree that the angle of pictures are not the best ones to show off the hairline .
I can assure you that we exclusively create hairlines to match patients expectations .
I will ask the clinic for a better set of pictures so the hairline is visible.

well it’s not always about money, if someone has limited donor (say a norwood 6), there is really no other option but the “less is more” look. I actually like to see more doctors doing sessions that are under 2000 grafts or better yet, under 1000 grafts, it is outright dangerous and irresponsible to waste a massive amount of grafts not knowing what the future may hold for the patient.

I agree 1680 grafts is very good covering such a large area, I think the result will look nicer if he grows his hair longer.

Please watch 1 minute to 1.30 minute mark . You can see that the patients hair is being comb backwards and clearly one can see the hairline in tact .
You do realise that these pics and videos are only 6 months after the transplant , right ?
I personally think for the amount of grafts , this is a suberb result , especially given the fact that it is only after 6 months since the operation .
I would wait till the 12 months mark to evaluate the results properly .
I think this is an excellent result , for the amount of grafts used its outstanding !
The patient must be very happy especially so when comparing costs of a procedure to other clinics , this really delivers value for money
