“We’re testing various different dermatological procedures and drug interventions to maximize the effect,” said Steinberg, whose company has licensed the technology developed by Cotsarelis. “We’ll be testing in humans within a year.”
Basically, they are doing (or did) what we’re doing collectively with our home experiments. But unlike us, they will likely be able to nail it just right. That is, figure out the optimal wound size and depth, what drug cocktail provides the best result, and exactly when the cocktail should be applied and for how long.
