Looks like a design for a hand tool.

It appears to be set up to mix a drug of some sort with an abrasive (probably both liquids) so that they’re both hitting the skin in the same action at the tip of the “gun” thing. Looks like they’re running the stuff over the skin and then back off it again to collect the used sludge afterward.

A fairly elegant design.

I could be wrong (it’s late and I’m tired) but it seems like a device for embedding a drug at a specific depth in the skin, i.e. a specific layer. Pretty freakin amazing.

This is what Follica said in one of their first interviews about this.

“The follicle’s almost like the epicenter of human hair and skin.” If you can control the follicles and the sebaceous glands that are connected to each of them, you can theoretically create new hair, stop hair from growing, or even treat acne, Zohar says. “Whatever you do to the follicle is going to be beneficial to somebody,” she adds.

That was published at the same time they announced their new CEO. We are getting closer to human trials for sure!
Also the old Follica patent has been updated 2009-07-15, maybe with this new device? (the patent can not be viewed just yet, will probably be online within a week, but here is the link)

Sounds to me this is all WAY WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY far from being reality
Sounds like pure speculation. IF YOU CAN DO THIS WITH THE FOLLICLE you can grow hair

well IF i win the lottery I will be a millionaire

no tests with human trials even and you guys are acting so excited
