Dr. Keser, Derma-Plast clinic, Ankara, Turkey, presents this case, American patient, 26 years-old, received 2,065 grafts FUE on October 2011. Patient does not use Finasteride.
The patient was very happy with the treatment he received at the Derma-Plast clinic, and the results of his transplant.
Photos are before transplant, transplant, and 10 days after.
The folicular units started to grow immediately after the transplant with the bonus of covering the tiny FUE scars. The patient will have to wait for the natural development stages all hair transplants have to go through, including transplanted hair falling, but after several months he will enjoy its final result, a fuller set of hair.
Interesting that by keeping the donor hair a bit longer than usual you can actually SEE the grafts in the recipient and how the final result SHOULD look if all the grafts grow.
Based on this, its clear that this patient doest not need any more than the 2k grafts implanted.
Yet other clinics like Armani would easily have used 3000-4000 in the same area. Makes you wonder how many of these actually grow.
Either way, LOVE the idea of keeping the grafts a bit longer when implanted so that patients can see what the final result should look like.
Nice graft placement work. Ideal density for the temple regions -imho.
In addition, it seems most of the grafts already grew after 5-6 month.
Nice work!
Perfect placement and angulation! Keser and also Bisanga are very good at this. Low angulation makes transplants more difficult to detect, and also gives better coverage…
