» It looks painful. He will always have a scar and it’s difficult to hide
» under the chin. Did he do it because it’s less expensive than fue ?
No he did it because he just wanted too. He knew his options. The guy was kind of monied… but he wanted it… He got 606 grafts… 15 2’s and the rst 1’s.

I guess this guy does not want his beard to be thinned out. That would have been a well thought decision by him.
This should be a lesson for all the young folks out there. This guy is 63 years old and still having restoration work. I’ve seen far too often in this and other forums 20-25 year olds saying that they wouldn’t care about their hair when they got to be 40ish.
That is rubbish and this proves that point!

And to add to that, he is fortunate to have what he has in terms of old techniques that have gone by thwayside. He did not get all scarred up on top. But he did have a thinned out donor area. Nevertheless, he is a happy guy.

And I would add don’t just take comfort in the idea that HM will address problems by then because I have heard from those deeply in the know that HM is at least 45 years away. or maybe more.
