Dr. Alvi Armani - 2518 Fue Grafts 5 months Post-op

All BS aside, honest to God i stopped taking pictures when my hairloss progressed from the front. It hit me very very hard. I couldn’t believe that I looked so bad, big forehead, big face appearance, and looked many yrs older than I really was. Mind you I was very vein about my appearance, I modeled for quite a few yrs. I got sick and tired of students asking me if I was the TA of our lecture! I was very used to girls staring at me and easily picking them up at parties and gatherings. But when my forehead got bigger, my hairline wasnt the only thing I lost; my self confidence left with it and that made a big difference. I coudlnt style my existing hair in any way! and that pissed me off. I have 2 photos from 2 yrs ago but they are far and from a distance. If I can figure how to blow them up online I will. So far I know how to crop a photo and make it smaller.

If you guys really insist then the only thing I can do is request for pats to look into the pre-op photos I took at the clinic. Mind you they are not taken by me and will be brighter with the flash and professional camera.

Take a look at the severity of my loss just from the top alone. In my family the men from both my mother and father’s side lose grounds at the front and then start at the crown and midsection. My hairline was about an inch higher and my temples were about 1 inch further back. And the high existing hairline was thinning as well.

Ive managed to successfully (knock on wood) hold grounds pretty well with treatments in the top and crown regions for the past few months. You’ve made an excellent choice choosing armani from my personal experience and opinion. There is not a single doc on this planet that can create his hairlines. i still correspond with him through emails directly every now and then… even with stupid questions lol.

» loss pattern as you, can you post anymore before pics of your hairloss if
» you still have them whenever you update this post?
»
» looks good though bro…dramatic change most definitely.

well i can definitely understand about the “stopped taking photos” scenario because i try to avoid them as i have been for several years too. yea i meant pre op before photos to show the extent of where you actually started now that we have a good idea of where you’re at now.

everything you’ve mentioned about students thinking you’re older i can definitely relate to, the whole forehead getting bigger thing, lol…already there brother. i’m no model, but when i had my hair i never had an issue to go in a club or lounge and get numbers or whatever the case…now…not so much lol. i just keep my body in shape, eat healthy and when i get the HT i can get my mojo back and at least look my age or a few years younger.

if pats can find one or two pre op photos of you then cool, if not then no big deal.

do you plan to go back and get the crown done too or do you think you’ll be able to hold off until HM or something (better than whats currently on the market) comes along to sustain the hairloss?

Yes, what a tremendous impact it can have on self confidence and self esteem. Those who say hair does not effect their confidence in any way shape or form, then kudos to them. They must have an awsome shaped head when they shave and look kool enough to rock it. I can’t. I tried and I look like bald monkey with a small round apple shaped head.

I had a plan way before I went in for a hairtranspant. I knew for sure that no meds in the world would bring back my hairline - so for my hairline I opted for a hair transplant. The top and crown was planned on being maintained with some regrowth and thickening using meds, exhausting all avenues. I already knew I was a good responder to most meds because I used them before but dumbly stopped. So far I’m satisfied with the results of the meds and my plan is working so far.

If someone’s hairloss is progressing and wants a hair transplant but does NOT want to take hair loss treatments, should not get a hair transplant at ALL.

Mind you I was very vein about my appearance,

I can relate to this 100% MJ. I went from being a confident man in my mid 20’s who really had his sh!t together, to a guy who was very unhappy and little self confidence. My balding really hit me hard.

It took some planning and 2 surgeries but I am a much happier man then I was 3-4 years ago. I have also learned alot about myself and I leaned alot about life going thru my two procedures.

Yesterday morning. I style my hair a bit different. I leave it wet, appply gel, style with my fingers, then spray into the palm of my hand, run my fingers through my hair, restyle using a round bursh, and spray it, and then blow dry it to stay. Thats how u get ure hair stay looking wet styled without moving. Last time I did that was 5 yrs ago. It’s an amazing feeling to do it now…I almost forgot how to lol.

your story about confidence, girls, being cameraphobic nd feeling older,it feels all so like -been thr, seen that…i think there are lots of other people who can relate to that…kudos for your amazing transformation dude…

Congrats on the great results man! Keep the photos coming, it’s exciting to see great results like yours.
