Don’t feel too bad you may be one of the most fortunate transplantees on the site!!!
What meds are you on?
Speak openly with your oncologist or another oncologist… you just might have oportunities that others do not. Also, it would be very interesting to know if your hairloss has progresed since the treatment or at least after the GVsH. How was that treated?

Marco, I’m taking Duta for hairloss and have been for 100 days. My oncologist would not give me a script for propecia when I asked three years ago, so I had to get it elsewhere. I was diagnosed in 1995 and went through regular chemo and then a bone marrow transplant. The GVH developed about one year post transplant, and I was treated with immune-suppressive drugs (steriods). I was on those drugs for one year, and it did not get worse or better and the damage I have was already done. GVH can cause premature hairloss and also premature graying. I am thankful for surviving, but even at age 44, I still am concerned about my hairloss.

I’m still scared about taking Duta. Think I’ll stick to Propecia for now.

Just back from hols so just saw your reply. I actually was asking if you are on any immune suppressants (excluding steroids).
» Wow that is quite a story. Which doctors did you contact? What is your
» long term plan?
Thomas, I guess there is no harm in stating which Doctors I mailed pics to. Dr Cole, Dr Wolf, Dr’s Hasson and Wong and Dr Umar. The only reply I recieved was from Dr Cole. Dr Cole has a cautious approach due to my high NW status. Dr Cole recommended 1200 FIT grafts to the area around the the “mini-grafts”. Dr Cole is basing that only on the photo’s, and his assesment during a in person consult. My long term plan is to continue Duta for one year and evaluate.
