The whole hairline is reconstructed with only 1442 grafts?

Very impressive, do most of your patients experience swelling even for a small FUE like this one? Any chance a smaller FUE session will be less prone to swelling?

Dear Helpmeout,

As you can see from the photos the patient had some hairs of his own. The doctor did not traumatize the existing follicles by implanting the new ones. Also, the patient has been using minoxidil for the past 9 months. The combination of these factors led to this beautiful result.

This patient didn’t experienced swelling on his forehead as the DHI doctor prescribed oral prednisone for 3 days. Also, DHI uses a new painless anesthesia that minimises the edema after the placement of the grafts.

When you said “this patient didn’t experience swelling”, I assume some patients will experience swelling? What percentage are we talking about?

No, the don’t. Only in rare cases e.x vasodilation in summer period.
