PLEASE, I don’t want any moral answer. Just answers from people who have experienced this situation or have REAL scientific knowledge about it. If somebody is on Crystal Meth and has been transplanted hair. Could Crystal Meth damage or cause any negative effect on transplanted hair?
Well, I am not a doctor and have never been asked a question like this. Hair transplant surgeons in general do discourage smoking cigarettes after a procedure as it effects blood circulation in the body. Blood circulation and blood flow to the transplanted grafts does effect the results. You want good blood flow to the grafts, this is why alot of doctors suggest using mino after a procedure.
So if smoking Crystal meth (note I have no idea how it is taken), effects blood flow and circulation it might effect growth.
I am a believer that it’s a positive to keep your body in good health to help function at optimum levels. This will help your growth and result. Taking vitamins, drinking lots of water, fishoil, protein etc… Crystal Meth won’t help in that aspect of course.

It causes thing a LOT worse than hair loss.

who the hell knows, i dont think anyone did a study on stuff like meth, cocaine, marijuana and hair loss, use these stuff at your own risk.

No, it does not cause hair loss. It increases metabolism and could improve hair growth.
It rots teeth and kills your brain but your hair may not be affected. Oh but wait you may die first. Meth=Loser! This is moronic.

Back to the poster’s question, I imagine the question is about the stimulant effects of the stuff. Coke, amphetamines, etc, all have major stimulant effects.
They say don’t smoke cigarettes after surgeries because it constricts blood vessels. I don’t know whether that is directly a product of the stimulant effect or some other aspect of the cigs. If the constriction really is a product of the stimulant effect then meth would probably do the same thing, maybe much worse.
Try asking some other places and tell people you’re on Dexedrine or Adderal or something like that. Those are legally prescribed amphetamines. It might be a more feasible way to learn the answer you’re after.

Meth kills your appetite and ups your metabolism. Poor diet equals hair loss etc. The LAST thing your body uses protein for is your hair.

I’m not taking about diet that’s not well balanced, but something very poor. A very poor diet of homeless, you thin their bodies are still producing testosterone? I doubt it, it may explain why they have a full head of hair.
