I applied with surgeryloans.com today - my credit score is 670. I added a co-signer with an 880 credit score and was told via email / voicemail that I was approved. When I called the company back I was told it was an approval for only $2,000 (not the $14,000 I had applied for).
Can anyone recommend somewhere that will actually be able to fund my loan? I have a great job and pleanty of income - I guess this is the first time the ‘recession’ is really hitting me. I usually pay everything cash but don’t have that kind of cash readily avaliable.
Any help / advice from those that have gone through this already would be appreciated.
Why not put that on your credit card? When I am ready to get mine, I plan to put the whole thing on my credit card, $14000 is 14000 points, almost enough for a round trip ticket.
Shave your cornhole and hit the streets.
HTs are going to rape you financially; you might-as-well get some practice.

I can’t imagine the financing companies will charge anything less than 10%, even 8 or 9 % interest rate is very high, you end up paying almost twice for the hair transplant if you don’t pay off the whole balance within 7 years. $14000 can easily become $28000

I would not be caught dead taking a loan.
The last place you want to be is in debt to the tune of thousands of dollars. This is how people end up ruining their lives.
Start saving up and in the mean time, spend time researching all the ins and outs of hair transplants.
