Can anyone hear tell me about Toppik

First off does it work?

What kind of brush can you use to comb your hair?(when I called they said the brush had to be static free.)

Does Toppik clog your drain when you wash the stuff out of your hair?

Can Toppik cause you to go blind if it gets in your eyes?

Does this product work well with frontal baldness?

I have a small child.(baby) Will this effect her if she touches my hair?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS.

Toppik can be harder to use in the front and hairline then the back. It really depends on how much hairloss you have.

When I was a toppik user I would have this black film in my bathroom, over the sink, shelves etc… Its messy.

Best thing to do if you decide you want to use it is buy a small bottle and experiment with it.

I used Toppik for quite a while, before switching to Dermmatch. My hairloss is most evident in the crown and therefor consealers work nicely for me. From what i understand Toppik is made of organic Keratin proteins which are the same elementary particles of your natural hair. The particles are macroscopic and thus not hazardous to the lungs as some nano/micro-scale particles can be. As far as blindness? i think thats a bit paranoid. why would it make you blind… you constantly get random particles in your eye throughout the day… why would this toppik in particular make you go blind?

I’d give it a try… it is a bit messy and if someone touches your hair they might end up with toppik on their fingers leaving you with a tough situation to explain. Dermmatch is applied to the skin and therefor is not messy at all… you can even swim with it and people can touch your head without getting stains on their hands immediately. You might want to try both products and see what works best for you.

I would agree with two very big points from the post above.

1- Toppik works better in the crown then the hairline

2- Toppik will come off on your hands if you run your hands thru your hair. Not good when fooling around with a woman.

I had tried Dermmatch, it did not work that well for me. It’s like a thick paste and quite difficult to get that into my hair, I ended up pulling out a lot of my hair when trying to rub Dermmatch onto my scalp.

Toppik is great for making your thinning hair look thicker, but won’t help your receding hairline. You can use it in the front or back, but only to thicken the hair that’s already there. If you have spots that are totally bald it won’t help those. I had pretty good experience using a cream called "Couvré " along with Toppik. I would buzz my hair with the clippers and then use the Couvré to darken my scalp and then the Toppik to make it look more natural. It looked fine, but one day in karate class I realized it was getting on people’s shirts:surprised: . They can both be pretty messy. I also had the sink “film” issue, and the Couvré turned hands, towels, and pillows brown.

You have to be very careful about this. If you use a concealer there is a good chance if you wear it in over night, such as an overnight date or what not, the conealer will be on the pillow the next morning. The stuff will come off sometimes.

Dermmatch is good option and is not as messy as topikk but none of them is problem free.!!

Personally I could never get Dermatch to work for me, it looked like paint.
